Due to the current stressors in the world, I'm focusing more on trauma therapy specialty.
I have worked in private practice since 1995. In that time, I have come to appreciate the collaboration and interplay between my clients and myself. I encourage people to pursue adaptations of their ideas, life choices and relationships as a way of taking charge of their own lives. Usually it takes many small shifts and multiple steps to lead to a beneficial outcome. It's not easy but therapy can be rewarding and life altering with the development of insight and the use of extra support to move forward.

I specialize in the holistic combination of Neurofeedback, EMDR Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy to address trauma/ PTSD, anxiety, mood dysregulation, and attachment disorders.
The human brain is shaped by experience. Sometimes those experiences can be overwhelming, leaving us at a loss for how to integrate them into the greater context of our lives. No matter how much we talk about it, we can often still feel stuck, sometimes even after years of talk therapy! Through a powerful combination of trauma-informed approaches, it is possible for these patterns to be reversed. I hold out tremendous hope for change because I have seen the power of the brain to heal from deep wounding.

Hi there! I'm Tammy, a seasoned clinical counselor licensed in Ohio with over 25 years of experience in the helping profession. Three years ago, I made my dream a reality by founding Hearts To Minds, LLC, my very own private practice. I'm driven by a deep passion to inspire and provide a safe space for others. My mission is to empower individuals who are committed to helping themselves. The loss of my mother in a tragic car accident when my brother and I were just 4 and 7 years old ignited a fire within me to overcome adversity and persevere through life's toughest challenges. I'm living proof that anything is possible, and I'm here

Waitlist for new clients
I frequently help people process and move past negative experiences such as car accidents, physical, emotional and sexual abuse, narcissistic relationships, grief, and medical trauma.
Update: I have daytime availability for new clients. Hello! I enjoy working with adults to break through their negative beliefs and self-imposed glass ceilings. Often these clients feel stuck and frequently self-sabotage their goals. Commonly these blocks can be caused by past negative experiences (bullying, critical parents, narcissistic relationships) as an adult or as a child. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other techniques to remove these blocks so the client can easily move towards their goals. I also enjoy working with college students struggling to balance school, ADHD and other stressors.

I have completed training in EMDR (a method of trauma therapy that addresses information processing and emotional distress linked to past memories).
My name is Mitchell Harmon (he/him) and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC-S). I have a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. I believe that life is a series of transitions, and it is during these transitions that people experience their greatest struggles, and their greatest triumphs. Change is never easy, and most people are trying to live their greatest lives, but sometimes experience barriers to being the best that they can be. I consider it a privilege to help people become the greatest version of themselves.

My aim is to help you achieve wellness, which is more than the absence of disease or trauma.
I am a Jungian-informed music therapist who has been working in the mental health field for 10 years. I believe that the most effective therapist serves as a guide to assist people in connecting to their innermost thoughts, feelings, and values. I am interested in empowering my clients to discover and understand their unique qualities so that they may lead meaningful lives. I utilize the therapeutic relationship to explore attachment patterns in order to help people understand their own adaptations and needs, particularly if you have relational trauma.
