I provide mostly trauma-informed care to women, and couples therapy. I want to help you clarify whatever it is you want to heal. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, over think, isolate or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships I will use what I’ve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help women with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.

Welcome... I come to you with over two decades of clinical and recovery practice, along with a strong understanding of the natural transitions - grief, loss, trauma - and periods of change we all face in our lives. In a compassionate, warm environment I strive to offer you an opportunity to unplug from the everyday stressors so you can begin to focus on your story, your needs, and your wellbeing. Are you struggling with grief, loss, trauma, anxiety, 'old stories', difficult relationships/dynamics? Or simply feeling like you are not functioning at your best mentally, physically, or emotionally? Whatever the reason...

I believe in self-determination (choice) and the natural process of growth. I will, therefore, assist your growth/change process by providing you with education, support and honest feedback. Because I prefer to examine issues from a holistic perspective, I will discuss the integration of your strengths as they relate to the five life domains: emotional, mental, physical, relational and spiritual.

I love my work. I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients over the past 35 years. Although I consult with adults, adolescents & children, I also see many couples and families. My clients are never the problem, they have problems and need solutions and strategies to get "unstuck" or make changes in their lives. I have also found personal, business and career coaching helpful to many clients. I am the owner of a large practice with psychologists, psychiatrists & counselors. If my hours or approach does not fit your needs I will find someone who can assist you.

I strongly believe in the strength, courage, and power of each individual to reach their fullest potential. My passion is to help those with Weight Mgmt., Self-Esteem/Social Anxiety, or Anxiety/Trauma and are seeking a better way to cope. We have many tools that can be utilized including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) (similar to EMDR), Clinical Hypnosis, and CBT. If you are not familiar with A.R.T., please check it out! It is a fast brain rewiring intervention that allows us to heal from trauma and many other issues in ways that talk therapy alone often cannot reach.

My favorite part of therapy is seeing people rediscover their joy! Do you find yourself saying about your partner that you 'love them' but don't 'enjoy them'? Have you looked at your children or teens and wondered if the 'fun part' of parenting is over? I work with couples and families on a daily basis to help them figure out how to find that connection again. I help them resolve their current struggles and empower then to create better futures.

Welcome! It takes energy to get here. Maybe life feels like too much or too little; over or underwhelming; Maybe you need more energy or more calm; maybe you don’t know where to start, whether you want to focus on the past or present; beginnings or endings. You might be rewriting an existing story or creating something entirely new... Wherever life finds you, you are welcome, secure and believed in our space. If you are struggling, you are human; you are not burdensome, oversensitive or inferior.

"We have more possibilities available in each moment than we realize." This quote by Thich Nhat Hanh expresses my belief. For over 20 years in the field of Mental Health, it has been my pleasure to accompany others on their journey, working with all issues including relationships, life transitions, stress managment, habits, health, nutrition, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma and spirituality. My perspective is strength-based and views you, a whole person within your unique situation, rather than the typical pathology based medical model of care.

Do you struggle with anxiety, panic, perfectionism, burnout, and a general sense of not being enough? Sometimes that looks like overworking, drowning in motherhood, or not being able to pin down exactly what doesn’t feel good in your life – just knowing that something is off. My deepest passion is helping women begin taking up space in their own life; typically that looks like a good balance of practicing new skills (setting boundaries, self-connection, communication, self-care, etc) while also exploring and healing deeply-held beliefs that make it difficult to do those skills on your own.
