I provide mostly trauma-informed care to women, and couples therapy. I want to help you clarify whatever it is you want to heal. What is it that you aren't getting from your environment that leads you to overwork, over think, isolate or continue habits you already know don't serve you? To communicate better in your relationships I will use what I’ve learned to help guide you in how to disagree without hurting, highlight what is already working, and uncover the struggles you face to get to the core reasons why we get stuck. I help women with ADHD, OCD, and other anxiety disorders. The label doesn't matter as much as you do.

I come to you with over two decades of clinical and recovery practice, along with a strong understanding of the natural transitions - grief, loss, trauma - and periods of change we all face in our lives. I believe in self-determination (choice) and the natural process of growth. I will, therefore, assist your growth/change process by providing you with education, support and honest feedback. Because I prefer to examine issues from a holistic perspective, I will discuss the integration of your strengths as they relate to the five life domains: emotional, mental, physical, relational and spiritual.

I obtained my M.Div in 2005 at Western Theological Seminary & spent 6 years as an Associate Pastor in Worthington, Ohio. I further obtained my MA in Counseling at Methodist Theological School in Ohio in 2011 & began work in counseling in June 2012 at the Center for Balanced Living. I obtained my Doctorate in May 2024. My therapeutic approach stems from work with talk therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, CBT and Internal Family Systems and EMDR.

I love my work. I have really enjoyed getting to know my clients over the past 35 years. Although I consult with adults, adolescents & children, I also see many couples and families. My clients are never the problem, they have problems and need solutions and strategies to get "unstuck" or make changes in their lives. I have also found personal, business and career coaching helpful to many clients. I am the owner of a large practice with psychologists, psychiatrists & counselors. If my hours or approach does not fit your needs I will find someone who can assist you.

I strongly believe in the strength, courage, and power of each individual to reach their fullest potential. My passion is to help those with Weight Mgmt., Self-Esteem/Social Anxiety, or Anxiety/Trauma and are seeking a better way to cope. We have many tools that can be utilized including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.) (similar to EMDR), Clinical Hypnosis, and CBT. If you are not familiar with A.R.T., please check it out! It is a fast brain rewiring intervention that allows us to heal from trauma and many other issues in ways that talk therapy alone often cannot reach.

My favorite part of therapy is seeing people rediscover their joy! Do you find yourself saying about your partner that you 'love them' but don't 'enjoy them'? Have you looked at your children or teens and wondered if the 'fun part' of parenting is over? I work with couples and families on a daily basis to help them figure out how to find that connection again. I help them resolve their current struggles and empower then to create better futures.

I enjoy working with adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. I have a background in school counseling with years of experience working with older children and adolescents. I currently work with clients of any age who are looking for help to improve their mental and emotional wellness. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment.

I am experienced in working with individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, bi-polar disorders, grief and loss, OCD, self-esteem and life transition issues. I am also experienced assisting mothers as they journey through various postpartum concerns and have completed training in exposure and response prevention therapy for the treatment of OCD, phobias, and other anxiety disorders.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker who specializes in individual counseling for children, adolescents, and young adults. I help individuals manage anxiety, depression, anger, behavioral issues, disorders related to trauma, relationship issues, major life adjustments/ transitions, and other personal issues. I have a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Miami University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University.

Eva strongly believes that rapport, trust, and a good fit with your therapist are important. She takes a holistic approach in working with her clients. She works with adults ages 18-65. Her 25 years of practice includes 12 years with active-duty service members, veterans, and families. Eva’s clinical focus includes traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, depression, grief, managing stress and triggers, life transitions, parenting, and PTSD. Therapeutic interventions include Accelerated Resolution Therapy, CBT, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, strength-based, and solution-focused. I look forward to working with you!

I work primarily with adults who are dealing with perinatal mood disorders, generalized anxiety, life-transitions, family conflict, and grief.
