I enjoy helping clients transform challenges into growth. I work with adults of all ages struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, and life changes. I also work with college students who are unsure of their major/career, as well as with athletes who are looking to overcome mental hurdles to performing at their best. I enjoy walking with each client as they achieve their goals, overcome struggles, and create meaning. I operate under the style of Motivational Interviewing, and I utilize an eclectic style, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, and existential therapy.

My focus is you and I would encourage you to reach out to determine if there is potential to build a solid, genuine client therapist relationship.
Life tends to bring about a set of challenges that can be difficult to manage without the right tools. Identifying the right people just to share your story with and get wise counsel can be even more challenging. Are you depressed, anxious, confused about your purpose and goals for your life or just flat out need someone to talk to...I’m here. I believe that everyone is born with the innate ability to thrive and persevere regardless of what the circumstances say. Have faith in yourself, acknowledge that inner strength, take one small step at a time and see results manifest in due time. Seeking help means you are almost there!

I will teach you how to assert your wants and needs in ways that maximize the possibility of getting what you’re after, to bring your relationship back on track when it goes off course and most of all, how to respect and cherish each other.
Are you unhappy with a relationship in your life? Are you anxious, depressed, or frustrated, knowing that things with someone you care about are not the way you'd like them to be? If so, I can help! I'm a relationship expert at Middle Path Counseling Services LLC. Ten years of helping individuals and couples repair and improve their relationships has taught me that the blame for bad relationships is not people but rather the pattern of their interactions and the lack of effective, loving communication skills. If you're ready to close the gap between the relationship you have and the one you want, you've come to the right place!

My specialty is in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, prenatal and postpartum issues, relationship/intimacy issues and life transitions.
Sometimes life is just difficult. Sometimes we struggle to cope or express our feelings, what it is we truly want. This is when we could all use a little help, someone who is outside ourselves that sees things differently and can show us what we may be missing. I recognize the importance of mental health and know the ways that it can impact every facet of life. I use my experience as a person and a professional to create an individualized approach for each person I see. I am a Licensed Professional Independent Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) in the State of Ohio. I see clients by telehealth only.

I believe that to a large extent it is the relationship that heals in the counselor/counselee relationship.
Why do people embark on a counseling relationship in the first place? What could a psychological intervention provide to ease the burden of problems experienced in life? What becomes of undiagnosed and untreated psychological stress? These may be some of your questions as you contemplate moving forward with treatment. Our mind is delicate in a lot of ways and prone to afflictions that cannot be remedied without help. Simply put, we all need assistance sometimes. Counseling is useful since it can uncover underlying social, emotional and perhaps physical maladies. Counseling is instructive, reformative and constructive.

Relationships can be the source of our deepest joy or most profound pain. It is my passion to accompany couples and support them in the life-changing work of growing their relationship. Perhaps your life has gotten so busy that you’ve grown distant and feel like roommates? Maybe things have happened that have eroded your trust? Does your relationship lack the spark and intimacy you want? You don’t need to continue living with loneliness, frustration, and disconnection. I can help you learn new ways to communicate, understand, and bond with your partner to discover a new version of your relationship.

While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
