Daryn earned her Master's degree in social work from the Ohio State University. Her early career was in community mental health making home visits to engage children, adolescents and parents in counseling. Once Daryn's children were school age, she embarked on a 10 year journey working in juvenile jail to continue working with children, adolescents and parents in crisis. At this time, Daryn became trained in trauma informed care over a 2 year period of time.
