I have two master’s degrees in both Social Work and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. I have many years of experience working with individuals who struggle with mental health and addiction problems. I use a skill-based approach to treatment called dialectical behavioral therapy. This type of treatment focuses on learning how to live in the moment, manage interpersonal relationships effectively, handle life's challenges with grace and competence, and understand and deal with feelings in constructive ways. Using my training and diagnostic knowledge I will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that emphasizes relapse prevention and living a life worth living. I work with a team of other mental health professionals including psychiatrists, and counselors.

Having received training in both Clinical and Forensic psychology, I deliver targeted Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral (DBT) Therapies to diverse client populations, tailored to the specific needs of each individual. I specialize in treating adolescents and adults with Personality Disorders (Borderline, Narcissistic, Antisocial), Behavioral Disorders (Oppositional Defiant, Anger), Mood Disorders (Anxiety, Depression), and Sexual Dysfunction. I also treat violent and non-violent criminal offenders, sex offenders, perpetrators of domestic violence, and various other forensic populations.

We specialize in serving professionals and executives, and provide services for children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples and families.Our services are provided by caring, highly experienced professionals, who only use approaches and techniques that are scientifically proven to be effective. Our services are specifically tailored to meet each individual's needs and concerns. We do not prescribe medication, but if medication is necessary, we are able to provide coordinated care and have established relationships with local medical professionals and psychiatrists for this purpose.

My style of counseling is straightforward and direct, but I do not tell you what to do, but help you to figure out what action is best for you. I use CBT (talk therapy ) and Person Centered Therapy, as well as hypnotherapy. I have helped hundreds of people struggling with depression, anxiety , addiction and those in the LGBTQ+ community. I have been doing this a long time and understand we all make mistakes. I believe the important thing is to be willing to work for change.

My aim is to empower those who struggle with managing their emotional and behavioral well-being. I have extensive experience in areas of trauma, emotional dysregulation (e.g., depression, anxiety), behavioral disorders in children, aggression, para-suicidal and self-injurious behaviors, identity issues, sexual-offending behaviors, and personality disorders.

At Psychology Partners of Ohio we conduct comprehensive Forensic Evaluations for juveniles and adults referred by attorneys, courts, government agencies, private sector businesses, and self-referrals. We provide direct feedback to the referring party and render thorough forensic reports including responses to specific referral questions, diagnostic determinations, and treatment recommendations. My specialties are working with families, adolescents, individuals, couples, and groups in the areas of mental health and addiction (alcohol & drug, sexual, gambling, internet, etc.,) trauma, abuse, PTSD, legal issues, depression, anxiety, grief, anger management, domestic violence and behavioral management. My role is to walk beside my clients as they find their own solutions. I bring a background from journalism, theater, film, event production, dj, and comedy writing to my practice. Racheal Wilson (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who is supervised by Michael Pollak, PCC-S. She provides individual counseling to adolescents (16+) and adults. Her areas of focus include bipolar disorder, dual-diagnosis, substance-use disorders, schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders, complex trauma, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

In my 30 years of experience as a child and adult clinical psychologist, I have developed a diverse set of assessment and therapeutic skills, allowing me to provide optimal care to children, adults and families. I am a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), and my specialties include helping families going through the difficulties of divorce, parent coordination, preserving a cooperative and collaborative environment to keep the children's best interests a priority, and conducting court-ordered custody evaluations. Attorneys and courts frequently request these services in order to help resolve child custody and parenting disputes.

The people who come to see me for help get my compassion, understanding and good judgment. Often, what is required is someone to talk with, who will pay attention and listen objectively, and then communicate that understanding in a way that is helpful. I like to give my clients practical ideas that can help enhance the conduct of their lives. I also think that by talking things out with an experienced professional, my clients gain the courage to take control of their lives and make the (sometimes difficult) choices they know they need to make.

Most of my clients come away from the process with some new practical skills and new, more adaptive ways of looking at life. I work with individuals hoping to discover more about their cognitive abilities (like memory, attention, and language) and mental health concerns. I help people understand their mental health, brain functioning, and any diagnoses revealed from evaluation. My clients are often referred for an evaluation related to a legal or work situation, including an injury, divorce, or criminal offense. I am comfortable working with clients who have highly complex issues involving a combination of psychiatric and medical symptoms with or without a compounding legal situation.

Ms. Logan is a clinical social worker (LISW-S) who specializes in trauma, cultural inclusivity, and innovative recovery practices for sustained independence. Ms. Logan is dedicated to eliminating the antecedents of incarceration, homelessness, and mental instability related to community and institutional dysfunction. I believe that people are curious and usually strive to make sense of their internal selves and the world around them. In this process we are often guided, influenced, and diverted by various factors. These factors are endless and include, but are not limited to; experiences, parents, society, friends, work, and morals. While these variables can help us to grow, they may also hinder progress, leading to stagnation and dysfunction. I assist others to gain awareness of these factors either within or outside the self.

I am a licensed Psychologist (OH, NJ, NY) with over 35 years clinical experience. I am also a licensed/admitted attorney in OH, NJ and in NY. I have a special interest in forensic child custody and parenting time/best interests of the child evaluations. I also perform forensic evaluations and treatment related to Worker's Compensation claims in Ohio. I completed the required 40-hour pre-appointment course for custody evaluators in Ohio.

I practice with adults of all ages, older adolescents and couples.  I treat clients with problems related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship/marriage conflicts, substance abuse issues and those individuals who struggle with emotional regulation.   I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health counseling, residential treatment, felony court, and inpatient counseling.  I believe the best treatment modality is important for success.  I practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and a few others.
