I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, traumatic experiences, relationship difficulties, and difficult life adjustments. While I have gained a variety of experience with different populations, I especially enjoy working with adults and I love to help my clients through their difficult times in life. I also work with couples looking to strengthen their relationships utilizing Gottman informed couples counseling. I put an emphasis on client-centered care, in which clients are able to work collaboratively with the counselor to establish treatment goals and facilitate feelings of empowerment.

Update: I have daytime availability for new clients. Hello! I enjoy working with adults to break through their negative beliefs and self-imposed glass ceilings. Often these clients feel stuck and frequently self-sabotage their goals. Commonly these blocks can be caused by past negative experiences (bullying, critical parents, narcissistic relationships) as an adult or as a child. I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other techniques to remove these blocks so the client can easily move towards their goals. I also enjoy working with college students struggling to balance school, ADHD and other stressors.

I have a variety of experience in my background, but my primary focus is working with adults specifically dealing with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and managing relationships. From a theoretical standpoint I integrate a variety of treatment approaches to best meet the unique needs of each client.

Testing provides individuals with a tool to better understand their symptoms, provides a diagnosis for clarity, and provides recommendations for growth and realization of potential.
