I have assisted children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in learning and practicing the skills necessary for mental health and wellness.

I am passionate about working with those experiencing anxiety and depression disorders related to pregnancy, postpartum and parenting; looking to improve self-esteem, those who are neurodivergent, experiencing life transitions, grief, and relationship issues. I enjoy collaborating with my clients to form, work on and accomplish their goals. I believe goals need to be realistic, specific, measurable, and that you have to celebrate your wins.

As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) I feel it's important to empower clients by giving them the tools to meet their personal goals. Throughout life we go through life experiences where we may feel powerless or not in control, but we do have control over how we cope or react to life circumstances. By offering a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental place to guide clients through their healing process I hope to inspire confidence and the innate resiliency that I believe is in each of us.

I have been providing mental health counseling over the past forty-four years to individuals, couples, and families. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor in the state of Ohio. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders. I offer diagnostic assessment and empirically based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but use a combination of therapy techniques based on your individual needs including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness techniques with an emphasis on social skills training.
