I am experienced working in outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient in mental health and addiction with years of experience in each setting. I have spent years exclusively working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and persons with developmental disabilities and behavioral issues. My areas of expertise are anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and behavioral issues.

I specialize in working with children and parents to help the child to function at their absolute best and help parents know how to effectively guide and encourage them. Children can present with many issues such as anxiety, defiance, poor self-esteem, lack of impulse control, and poor decision-making skills. These and other problems can lead to various difficult issues such as poor problem solving, poor sleep habits, school issues, and sadness. I work with children using Cognitive Behavior Therapy to give children positive thinking and feeling skills. I also provide successful problem solving and coping tools.

I work with clients to break generational and systemic trauma impacts, to teach what is "normal" in healthy relationships, how to not overreact, and how to stop being "numb" or "overly emotional" so that clients can learn to enjoy life (and believe they are worth having a good life).

I have been providing mental health and addiction treatment to individuals for 16 years. I specialize in co-occurring disorders ie. addiction and mental health conditions as well as the wide range of issues that tend to go along with addiction, such as but not limited to trauma, domestic violence and spirituality. Specific areas of focus are depression, anxiety, bi-polar, adjustment disorders, stress management, learning good self care, codependence and grief.

Leah Blankenship (pronouns: she/her) is an experienced licensed professional counselor, who works with children, adolescents, adults, and groups. Her specialty interests include: women’s, men’s, and gender issues; career development; addictions; and trauma. She integrates art therapy, positive psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), gestalt, and multicultural counseling into practice. Rachel Tassile (pronouns: she/her) is an experienced licensed social worker who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Her specialty interests include: PTSD and trauma, first-responder trauma, ADHD, autism, foster care and adoption transitions and issues, and LGBTQIA+ issues. With a specialized focus on trauma, childhood and teen emotional and developmental disorders, unique family dynamics, as well as navigating the complexities of personal and professional struggles, Cynthia offers a comprehensive approach to therapy that addresses the multifaceted needs of her clients.
