I have many years of experience working with individuals who struggle with mental health and addiction problems. I use a skill-based approach to treatment called dialectical behavioral therapy. This type of treatment focuses on learning how to live in the moment, manage interpersonal relationships effectively, handle life's challenges with grace and competence, and understand and deal with feelings in constructive ways. Using my training and diagnostic knowledge I will develop a comprehensive treatment plan that emphasizes relapse prevention and living a life worth living. I work with a team of other mental health professionals including psychiatrists, and counselors.

I help adolescents (15+), young adults, and adults work through trauma, anxiety, and depression to build healthier relationships. I will help guide you towards actions and decision-making that align with whom you aspire to be while bolstering your skills and resiliency.

It's exciting to get to know each client and how I can be of help to them. I enjoy working with clients of all ages, and have a special interest in women's issues, young adults and couples. I have experience treating a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, OCD, postpartum depression, and relationship issues. I worked in community health for several years. During that time, I saw a multitude up clients with a variety of issues to include but not limited to addiction, depression, bi - polar disorder, and many others. I provided care inpatient and outpatient and ran many different types of groups for adults and children. I worked with children and families on our juvenile unit as well.

I am an eclectic therapist specializing in EMDR, yet catering treatment plans which meet the needs of my clients and their willingness to change. I specifically work with children and adults who have a history of trauma which is impairing their ability to function and prohibiting them from living freely and wholly.

I am a Licensed Social Worker with a passion for decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and promoting the health and well being of my clients. For my undergraduate degree, I moved from Central Jersey (Yes! It exists!) to South Jersey to attend Stockton University. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Behavioral Neuroscience from Stockton, and then moved on to attend graduate school in Philadelphia. I received my Master of Social Work Degree with a clinical concentration from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice in May of 2020.
