We work with our clients from our first interaction to make sure their treatment is individualized to meet their mental health needs and personal goals. Our staff of over 30 diverse and skilled therapists provide the highest quality care to serve diverse communities with respect to their spiritual, cultural, and individual differences. Our offices in Hilliard, Ohio and London, Ohio are available to work in-person with community members in Central, Ohio or we are available for Telehealth services throughout the State.

Julia Johnston, LPCC Julia Johnston is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2017. She attended Ohio Northern University where she received her BA in Psychology. At ONU, Julia worked with her professor to conduct research on how trauma impacts learning and memory. She presented her research findings at the national level. Julia attended John Carroll University for her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in addiction. Throughout her life, Julia has always been fascinated by how the brain works and how it influences thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Dominique Ater is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2021. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She gained experience working in community mental health settings focusing on co-occurring substance use and mental health issues focusing on behavior modification, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, ODD, and borderline personality disorder. Dominique has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Dominique understands that asking a stranger for help can be difficult and scary.

Christa Carnahan is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in Ohio who has been practicing since 1996. Christa is very good at starting where a client is. She thinks that she builds a rapport well. Christa has strong skills at goal setting and can help someone figure out what goals will fit best for them. She can assist someone in breaking these goals down into manageable steps to help them achieve each small goal to feel successful. Christa works well with her clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.

Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio, who has been practicing since 2024. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the Ohio State University and a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. Angela has several years of experience working with adults and adolescents in both Community Mental Health and School-Based settings. Her training includes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, as well as, Motivational Interviewing.

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy. I believe it is important to learn a person, their history, their goals, and their daily experiences so as to form the best treatment approach to address various needs. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families and have worked extensively with trauma survivors. I am trained in EMDR and TF-CBT. I treat individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, addiction, and stress associated with life transitions.

Kara Leach is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2001. Kara provides individual therapy to women struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, postpartum anxiety/depression, life transitions, parenting struggles, relationship struggles, and perimenopause/menopause. Kara aims to meet her clients where they are in their current struggles and walk alongside them on their healing journey. She utilizes CBT, ACT, DBT, supportive therapy, and mindfulness.

Stephanie Krznarich is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in Ohio who has been practicing since 1993. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University and attended Bethany Theological Seminary where her focus was on Pastoral Care and Counseling as well as Chaplaincy. Stephanie brings more than 30 years of experience to the counseling relationship. Her focus has been working with individuals who have substance use disorders and/or mental health disorders, cognitive impairment, in addition to trauma survivors.

Krissi Reeder, LSW, provides compassionate and expert counseling to individuals and families, prioritizing their mental wellness and relational harmony. With a focus on marriage and family therapy, Krissi specializes in addressing a range of mental health concerns, guiding her clients toward healing and resilience. Krissi’s dedication extends to helping individuals cope with anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. Her expertise also encompasses working with couples facing relationship challenges and individuals navigating bipolar disorder or psychosis.

I am a licensed clinical counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults. I approach clients from a strengths-based perspective and customize therapy to the needs of the individual or family. I utilize client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solutions-focused therapy. I also use art and play therapy with children during sessions when appropriate.
