I enjoy working with adults, children, and adolescents with adjustment related issues, depression, anxiety, trauma and ADHD. I believe in providing a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients that are seeking guidance and support through a holistic, strengths based approach. My approach to therapy is eclectic, I use dialectical behavioral therapy, internal family system and client-centered interventions to assist my clients. I often use humor in my therapy and firmly believe laughter is the best medicine. Together we will set goals and work to achieve them in a comfortable setting.

I practice locally in the community of Canton but have lived around the state and have had the chance to explore other parts of the world. Dr. Erin Sheplavy is a Licensed Psychologist and Drama Therapist with 7 years of experience in the mental health field. Dr. Erin has worked in various settings such as schools, partial hospitalization, community mental health, and private practice, which has allowed them to gain a wide range of skills to create individualized treatment approaches for each client. They are passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, parents, and couples explore, process, and work through patterns and behaviors that may cause stress, tension, or distress.

While navigating through life's many ups and downs, I believe it is important to support one another and create a genuine connection with my clients to develop positive coping skills and a compassionate approach. I am interested in supporting young clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, managing stress and life transitions. I strive to create a non-judgmental environment which fosters a goal centered outcome. I also specialize in child therapy to improve struggles children may be experiencing in school or at home including classroom behavior and peer relationships.

Stephanie specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, LGBTQIA, relationship issues, and substance use.
