An ideal client is an individual who has a growth mindset and explores their thoughts and feelings and how they impact their behavior. They may not understand how those thoughts derived from past experiences, but they are willing to open old wounds given the right tools. They feel safe and secure and want to heal through hard work and determination.

I specialize in substance use disorders, mood disorders, stress management, trauma, and PTSD. I enjoy working with clients who are motivated for change and are open to exploring strategies to help them improve their mental health and quality of life. I specialize in seeing clients who struggle with over-controlled personality types. Do you work too much? Want things to be perfect? I have treated such a wide variety of diagnoses and people from all over the country. I am open to most clients as long as they are adults.
