Jason Stofel has been working in the field of social work in various settings since 1994. He began as a direct care staff serving youth involved in the juvenile court system in Delaware, Ohio as well as working with children and teens placed in out of home care at The United Methodist Children's Home. It was in these two settings that he learned the importance of building relationships, providing consistency and behavioral management. He then entered into doing Community Based counseling at Directions for Youth and Families, serving at risk youth and their loved ones.

Client centered, trauma aware therapist with an interest in brain/body connection. Lived experience in the child welfare arena and adults and adolescents with persistent mental illness. Past work experience with homelessness, domestic violence, substance use disorders and traumatic experiences.

As a queer transgender woman, I am personally aware of the unique challenges faced by the LGBTQIA+ communities. I am passionate about serving our communities and helping each of us find our most authentic selves. I want to give you a safe and accepting space where you can feel comfortable exploring who you are and want to be. I also work with families and friends of LGBTQIA+ individuals gain a greater understanding of what it's like to be LGBTQIA+ and how you can provide support, acceptance, and love. Therapy can be expensive, so I want to work with you to make it an affordable part of your self-care routine. You deserve it!

I have had the opportunity to support individuals and families who are affected by mental health, addiction, and trauma for the past 19yrs. I follow a holistic approach that incorporates the mind, body and soul. I am a trained therapist in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy (EMDR), and a certified somatic release breathwork practitioner. I believe the journey to healing and self-discovery takes tremendous strength and bravery. I look forward to supporting and walking beside you on that journey.

Sierra White is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio who has been practicing since 2019. She received her BA in Psychology from Kent State University and her MA in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Sierra specializes in helping people identify and achieve their personal goals by coping with the issues that are causing them depression, anxiety, and stress. She takes great pride in the progress and success of her clients and looks forward to helping you. Outside of work, Sierra spends time with her family in the community.

My approach to therapy involves building a relationship with you as the individual who is an expert on your life experiences. I hope to build connection between mind and body and recognize that no single therapeutic approach is right for everyone. I am trained in several evidence-based models including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. I work with individuals struggling to manage anxiety, depression, trauma histories, self-esteem, and daily stressors. Each treatment plan is individualized to meet your therapeutic goals and become the best version of yourself.

I believe in the art of slowing down, working together to mend dysregulation, and guiding my clients on the journey home to themselves. With orientations in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, and compassion techniques – I aim to take incremental steps toward transformation by identifying and building off of established strengths, while discovering more depth. My method to therapy is holistic healing that encompasses a multilayer look at an individual’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Debbie Sherman, LPCC, is a licensed professional clinical counselor. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. She received her master's degree in clinical counseling from the University of Dayton. Debbie has over 25 years of experience providing individual counseling in a variety of settings which include community mental health, private practice and the Hospice of Columbus. Debbie works with adults dealing with a variety of concerns which include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorders, weight concerns, bereavement, stress and relationship concerns.
