I have many years of experience working with early childhood trauma and severe, persistent mental illness, varying from ages of 5 years to 70+. I practice with adults of all ages, older adolescents and couples.  I treat clients with problems related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship/marriage conflicts, substance abuse issues and those individuals who struggle with emotional regulation.   I have worked in a variety of settings including outpatient mental health counseling, residential treatment, felony court, and inpatient counseling.  I believe the best treatment modality is important for success.  I practice using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and a few others.
