The Counseling and Wellness Center is a group practice in the Columbus, Ohio area. Clinicians hold dual licenses in mental health and addiction counseling. Clinicians within the practice are also certified mediators and trained in divorce settlements, and resolutions of assets between businesses and personal relationships. In addition, their areas of expertise include marriage and family counseling, crisis stabilization, individuals, treatment of mental and emotional disorders, and as a life coach. Clinicians follow the principle that the mind, body, and spirit is essential to wellness.

I help women recover from narcissistic abuse by providing support while skills needed for dealing with the hurt, disappointment, fear, & toxic behaviors experienced in the marital relationship. This is NOT couples' counseling. This is for you! I help you learn how to manage thru the overwhelming emotions, while figuring out what YOU want to do with regards to changing the dynamics of the relationship. We'll figure it out together so you can find peace & contentment.

Arbor Counseling is a group practice with several providers equipped to see people with a variety of needs across the lifespan. We treat children, adolescents, adults and families for anxiety, depression, relational issues, trauma, panic attacks, transition, grief, burnout, etc. Each of our providers have their own specialty but we all have a passion and respect for the healing potential of a person's faith and relationship with God that can be incorporated in treatment based on the requests of each person. We are usually able to accommodate whoever calls or will assist in finding someone who can help.

My ideal client is an individual who is open to working as a team and benefiting from a therapeutic relationship in which honesty, accountability, and empathy are paramount. While a client’s concerns are unique and personal, there is nothing they cannot overcome through effective therapeutic interventions and a highly-trained and relatable clinician.

There is a curious habit that I've noticed, especially when working with teens, that clients will mostly only work on the "issue of the week." This can have numerous benefits and can also delay the client's progress on any underlying concerns or patterns. Ideally, once a client has agreed to their treatment goals, they continue to take attainable steps towards that goal in therapy and in their daily life. When a client feels comfortable with their therapist to share their thoughts, emotions, and vulnerabilities, then deeper work can happen.

I enjoy working with clients who may be struggling with issues such as depression, anxiety, emotional management, poor self-esteem, experiencing grief and loss; who are motivated and open to change and doing homework, and who desire to be a healthier version of themselves.

Having coped with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and PTSD throughout my life, counseling is not just a profession for me; it's an opportunity to share the skills that I use daily. These Workshops are Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate the Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. In Addition, Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.
