As your therapist, my goal would be to provide a safe, supportive, collaborative relationship with the client for growth and overall wellness. One of my primary goals is to empower my clients through awareness, education, and tools to increase self efficacy. I utilize an eclectic approach, incorporating strategies from a variety of different therapeutic orientations and incorporate these into treatment to meet the specific needs of the client. My focus is on the person's strengths and competencies by using a holistic approach to address the whole individual; emotional, physical, social and spiritual.

I received a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ashland University and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Capella University. I am an independently licensed professional clinical counselor. I have worked in community mental health centers with children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring disorders.

I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to process through the difficulties you are going through in life, whether it be mental health (ADHD, Bipolar, Depression, Anxiety), relationship struggles, cultural issues, attachment difficulties, past trauma and/or divorce. I use reflective listening and empathy, and can aid you in working through your thought and emotion patterns (using both CBT (cognitive-behavior therapy) and EFT (emotionally-focused therapy). A passion of mine is to help empower people to be the best version of themselves to have a voice, learn how to be their authentic self and navigate culture.

I am a bilingual therapist who has been in the mental health field for over 11 years. I completed my graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University and I hold active licenses in the states of Florida and Ohio. I have a wide range of knowledge and experience in working with different populations ranging from adolescents, adults, and couples.
