I am a licensed clinical social worker and a Certified Trauma and Resilience Practitioner. I believe that everyone has strengths within them that can help them bounce back from stress. I work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, anger, stress management, and parenting concerns. My goal is to help my clients experience joy and purpose by exploring and using their strengths to create solutions for the problems they are facing. I help my clients by utilizing several treatment approaches such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness and Body Awareness, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and EMDR Therapy.

I recognize that I cannot know a person better than they know themselves, so it is my responsibility to empathize and understand the issues they bring in within the scope of their experiences. I strive to work from a multicultural and anti-oppressive frame of practice rooted in person-centered theory, which to me means understanding the intersecting identities that clients hold and how the systems surrounding them impact their distress and their access to opportunities and resources.

I work with adults using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat a wide range of eating-related concerns, as well as anxiety, depression, and associated conditions. I also provide Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for adults seeking trauma therapy, and I provide couples therapy using Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT).

I help women who are experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression feel grounded, supported, and validated. I am in tune with the unique ways that stress, depression, and anxiety affect women as well as specific triggers for these issues including women’s health issues, relationship issues, identity issues, work stress, family stress, infertility and reproductive trauma.

I am a board certified clinical neuropsychologist, working with children, adolescents, and adults. If you or your child are having academic or work challenges, or if you suspect a learning disability, I can provide you with a comprehensive assessment that will give you a profile of your cognitive strengths and weaknesses, and a diagnosis when appropriate. My comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations can be used to define the effects of behavioral and psychological concerns (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum, anxiety, depression), or of neurological illnesses and injuries (e.g., head injuries, effects of prematurity, Tourette's Syndrome) on each client's processing.

Dr. Jenna Wade is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist who has been practicing since 2015. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology with a minor concentration in Criminology from Miami University. She earned her Master of Arts (M. A. ) in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional of Psychology and her Doctor of Clinical Psychology (Psy. D. ) from Adler University. Dr. Wade completed her clinical internship at Rockdale Regional Juvenile Justice Center (RRJJC) in Texas. Dr. Wade then completed her postdoctoral residency at Forum Ohio, LLC.
