I strive to help individuals elevate their life experience, and am a personable therapist that cares deeply about each of my clients. I am also a wife, mother, nature enthusiast, dog lover and wellness junkie. Connecting with people and allowing space for others to feel heard & understood is important to me.

I am passionate about LGBTQIA+ issues and working from a trauma-informed lens to provide individualized care to everyone I work with. My therapy style is person-centered and guided by each individual’s goals and needs. I believe in creating a safe space with everyone to foster self-exploration and growth. As an advocate for justice and equity in mental health care, I know how important it is to acknowledge and address culture, privilege, race, gender, size, ability, sexuality, and the intersections of your unique identities and experiences in this world.

I have always felt a call to serve others and am passionate about walking along others in time of need. I am interested in working with adolescents, college students, young adults, and adults in all walks of life who are struggling with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder, spiritual issues, self-esteem, and autism spectrum disorder.

I work with patients that struggle to live their life to the fullest. I help them remove obstacles and barriers that prevent them from reaching their goals. Think of me as a life coach, pastoral counselor, minister, and leader in the community. Life is a gift and I believe I am here to help you figure out how to make your life the best for you. Over the years, I have helped people with their spiritual transformation and challenges, phobias, depression, trauma, addictions, and grief and bereavement.

I work with folks who are navigating chronic stress and trauma…and the dysregulation, anxiety, and depression that often accompany them. Stress and trauma affect the relationship you have with yourself and your relationships with family, colleagues, and friends. Together we explore how trauma and stress impact the nature of who you are and who you are being at any moment, your physical health, and the outcomes you want to achieve. I travel alongside you as a compassionate presence, witness your healing journey, and help you develop a healthy sense of self. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2024. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Science in Business Administration, and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Dayton. I'm currently under supervision until 2026. I enjoy making multidimensional connections within the world, building relationships, and guiding individuals through their personal and interpersonal challenges. My clients have commonly describe me as an optimistic, realistic, and eclectic counselor.

I present to therapy in the same way I present to all relationships in my life: a focus on authentic connection and a strong belief in the innate goodness of people. I believe that the therapeutic relationship plays an integral role in the process of navigating acceptance versus change with my clients. This means that I commit to bringing my true, authentic self to the room, when I am asking the same vulnerability of my clients. I work hard to ensure that my clients feel both validated and challenged to find balance and joy in their complex, overwhelming lives. Linda M. Evelsizer is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with more than 30 years of experience specializing in working with individuals who have experienced trauma in his/her childhood and/or in his/her adulthood. Linda has worked in a variety of treatment settings doing individual therapy and group therapy. In Linda's free time she enjoys reading a good mystery and taking photos.

Lauren welcomes everyone as her client, and those most excited to work with her will be the explorers of the universe, deep-soul divers, pioneers of creative frontiers, and those willing to be real with themselves while seeking a better life. Lauren excels at assisting with many issues, especially those involving trauma or loss. She loves to be there for people as part of the solution and she knows how hard it is to try to do it alone.

In my most recent job, I have found that domestic violence survivors and women who experience issues specific to being a woman have piqued my interest. As a therapist, the most rewarding thing is to guide women toward embracing themselves for who they are, heal past wounds, and empower them to live fully and authentically. I believe I have been given a purpose in this world to serve others, and that's what I was created to do.
