My ideal client is open about their issues and needs and motivated to work through them. My client's goal will be to build a foundation of good mental health that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives and use to improve their own lives as well as their family and friends. My ideal client comes to therapy because they want to be there and value what they can learn from their therapist and themselves.

I have worked in outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and college counseling. I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents in individual, family, and group-based therapy. I also have experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for a wide range of behavioral and psychological issues. My clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment and relationship difficulties, stress and anger management, behavioral pain management, employee-assistance programs (EAPs), psychological assessment, and working with individuals of diverse multicultural backgrounds.

I believe in the power of empathy, warmth, and acceptance. I work with my clients to help find their unique strengths and voice. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and binge eating, as well as orthorexia, and ARFID. I also have experience treating anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, body dysmorphia, relationship concerns, and adjustment disorders which so often co-exist with eating disorders. My goal is to use a multi-dimensional approach using evidence-based practices while ensuring that you can share your story and experiences in a safe space.

I am a licensed professional counselor that has been working in behavioral health for over 20 years. I am a lifelong resident of South Jersey and obtained my Bachelors and Masters degrees from La Salle University in Philadelphia.

I have been a practicing clinical social worker for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I work with clients who are at least 13 years of age. I believe I excel in assisting clients work through depression, anxiety, and /or life issues that impede an individual or a couple in maximizing their potential. Because I believe that children are often the victims of adversarial divorces, I am also a certified divorce and family mediator with the Court of Common Pleas. My focus in my mediation work is to help children of divorce.

I believe that we all have the capacity to grow towards becoming better versions of ourselves. I work collaboratively and systemically with individuals, couples, and families to help them achieve their desired goals for treatment. I also place great emphasis on developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. For adolescents struggling academically or in their interpersonal lives, I work to help them identify how they can get back to being their best selves. For families and couples feeling "stuck" in old patterns of behavior, our work can help you find new ways of relating towards more fulfillment in the relationship.

I work with clients of all ages, however, I have a special interest in working with teens and young adults. I support clients navigating a variety of needs including grief, PTSD, trauma, attachment wounds, relationship challenges, life transitions, women's issues, anxiety, and depression. I am dedicated to walking with my clients in their healing, and emphasize creating a non-judgmental, collaborative space.

My passion is to help adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are experiencing difficulties due to past trauma or current life stressors. My aim is to instill hope that change is possible and assist in making that change happen. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals feel comfortable talking about their concerns openly and freely.

Welcome to Love and Grow Youth and Family Therapy, PLLC :) I specialize in helping youth, young adults, couples, and families find direction in navigating difficulties with anxiety, depression, oppositional and defiant behavior, obsessive and compulsive behavior, as well as traumatic stress. I approach therapy with genuine curiosity, humbly meeting my clients where they are, validating those life experiences that bring my clients into therapy, and learning more about the tool kits clients have used thus far to steer them through troubled waters.
