Anissa is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio with over six years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults seeking help for a variety of mental health and behavioral issues. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University, graduating summa cum laude, and received her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Syracuse University.

Changes in jobs, moving, family stressors and loss are just some of the obstacles we face where we may notice our stress rise and need some support. You are in the right place. A myriad of reasons can lead someone to therapy. What if you aren't necessarily struggling, but you just want to know yourself better? I have worked in outpatient clinics, community mental health centers, and college counseling. I have experience working with adults, children, and adolescents in individual, family, and group-based therapy. I also have experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments for a wide range of behavioral and psychological issues. My clinical interests include mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, adjustment and relationship difficulties, stress and anger management, behavioral pain management, employee-assistance programs (EAPs), psychological assessment, and working with individuals of diverse multicultural backgrounds.
