I am a licensed social worker with over 10 years of experience. I received my bachelor’s in social work as well as my master's of education as in intervention specialist at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I also obtained a master’s of social work from Case Western Reserve University. I recently worked in hospice to provide therapeutic intervention to families, individuals, and couples as they work through major life events. I have worked within the hospital systems for oncology, obstetrics, hospice, crisis, and as a case manager providing therapy for a range of complex needs.

I have over 20 years of diverse therapy experience. I am an expert in relaxation therapy, meditation, and hypnosis, and I work in individual, couples, and family therapy settings. I believe in free will choice and your right to self determine your pathways in therapy and in life. I skillfully blend relaxation therapy with eye movement therapy for comfort and clearing the inner barriers from trauma.

My ideal client is ready to do the hard work of making real change in their life. Sometimes, people think change has to be big to start therapeutic services; it doesn’t. Sometimes, learning to breathe, decrease anxiety, and be more mindful of your strengths can become a great asset. Therapy doesn’t have to be forever; sometimes, you just need help getting through the now. I help individuals & families dealing with chronic illnesses and end of life. At times like those, crises often happen: medical conflict, spiritual conflict, familial conflict, financial concerns, housing and food insecurity.

During these 2 to 4 weeks, we will see both of you Together & Individually, as well as Help each of you Learn the Art of Empathy, Sensitivity & Compassion. These Workshops/Seminars are Designed to be Informative & Powerful, in order to Accelerate Your Healing Process & Stop any further Damage from Occurring. Our Success RATE is 85% of Our Couples that have Successfully Completed Our Couples Workshops or Alcohol Treatment.

Kimberly received her Master's Degree from Ohio University and has been practicing for 17 years, serving a variety of populations, including adolescents in alcohol and drug treatment, schools and outpatient treatment, families and couples, and individuals in a variety of settings, including acute inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, and long term care. Kimberly's areas of emphasis include working with anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD screenings, trauma informed care, women's issues, and alcohol and drug concerns. She enjoys helping individuals develop skills and strategies to live healthier happier lives.
