I specialize in treating those with a variety of presenting problems including anxiety, trauma, behavior concerns, ADHD, and more. Greetings, I am honored to have you reading my profile. I have worked in the mental health field for over a decade. In that time I have had the pleasure to work with a variety of different populations including children adolescents, and adults. Many of those clients who I have had the pleasure to work with have suffered from trauma, depression, anxiety, adhd, and other needs. I know how challenging it is to take the first step to healing, but believe me it is one of the best choices you will ever make. I would like to applaud you for your display of courage. I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, and Virginia. Over the past 20 years I have worked collaboratively with clients on a wide range of issues, and am comfortable utilizing a variety of techniques designed to help empower my clients and establish a greater sense of integrity within their lives. My training in psychotherapy has been influenced by a wide variety of philosophies and theories, and I am skilled in helping clients become more aware of deeper connections to their problems, whether it be in their relationships with others or in their relationship with themselves.

I believe the most important question we can ask ourselves is, "What do I want?" I believe that everyone has an ability to move towards growth, healing, and fulfillment. I approach therapy from a perspective learning and believe that the more we learn about ourselves, the better able we are to make choices about how we want to move forward in life. I use an integrative framework to address each client’s individual needs. I work from a trauma informed lens and use interventions from existential, Attachment Theory, Gottman, ACT, IPT, and EFT.

I love providing my clients with a safe and nonjudgmental space for them to be themselves. My biggest goal is for my clients to know that they have someone there for them, someone who can help them with their struggles and provide them support. I want to help people find balance in their lives, and aid people in finding their true selves. I know taking the step to get counseling is not an easy for one for all, and I hope to make your experience as comfortable as possible!

Now scheduling in-person sessions at Bridge Park in Dublin for September and thereafter! I do offer "walk and talk" therapy as going outdoors in the immediate area is certainly a benefit, based on your needs and preferences.
