Hello and welcome to my profile, I assist individuals regarding a various topics, including, anxiety & stress, trauma, depression, marital issues, healthy coping skills, low self-esteem, life transitions, grief/loss, and communication issues. Some interventions I utilize are integrative, EMDR certified, CBT, eclectic, person-centered therapy, Jungarian, and trauma informed care. My approach consists of collaborating with each individual based on their goals/values, unconditional positive regard, and having a crucial rapport and trust as an effective and healing therapeutic alliance.

I provide psychotherapy for couples, families, individual adults, adolescents and children. I collaborate with my clients, from an integrative client-centered approach, to treat a variety of mental, emotional and relational issues. I value the strengths that my clients bring with them to the therapy room and guide them to build on those attributes to create change in their lives. I work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, body image, infidelity, marital distress, grief and loss, challenging life transitions and other issues.

I am a Licensed Social Worker. I have earned my Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University and brings more than 6 years of clinical experience and expertise working with queer folks, adolescents, couples, and families. I specialize in the treatment of adolescents and young adults who are struggling to cope with anxiety, mood, trauma, sexual issues, and relationship issues. I also have experience in working with the queer community on an array of issues and concerns.

Dr. Thornton is a licensed psychologist who offers private counseling to individuals, couples and families. He offers a warm and confidential space to explore and repair relationships. He believes through insight and guided experience we are able to repair past hurts and discover positive change in our lives. He relies on scientifically proven theories and strives to provide a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable saying anything on their mind and are able to feel understood. In session, I usually have an eye on how to make positive and realistic change one day at a time. I often provide homework to challenge clients to be growing outside of our sessions. I work with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and survivors of stress-related trauma including emotional and sexual abuse, and neglect. As a therapist at a mental health hospital, I facilitated psychotherapy groups and counseled patients struggling with severe depression, severe anxiety, substance use disorder, and stress-related and psychotic disorders. I am also passionate about marriage and enjoy helping couples work through challenges in their relationships.

I did not arrive here by accident. I was created and birthed to help people. With a background in education, I love to teach. Based on my personal style, I also love to listen. Being a man of great faith, I believe in people and carry compassion. Combining all of that, by listening, asking the right questions, and a dash of teaching (skills, perspectives, and understanding) I am a well-balanced, faith-based, therapeutic professional. Men often come to me because porn or sex addiction has caused serious problems in their lives. Many of the men I see initially contact me becaue their wives or partners are forcing them. I get it! I specialize in sexual health and sexual addiction (SA). I also work with work and money disorders. My treatment modality is a task-centered approach that results in specific life competencies.

Bonnie Frye is a licensed professional clinical counselor with more than 25 years of experience. She holds a master's degree in Community Agency Counseling from Cleveland State University in Ohio. She has more than three years of experience working with adults with mental health and substance abuse concerns at the inpatient level of care. She also has experience in community mental health assessment and treatment. Bonnie has worked extensively with both individual, family and therapy groups in inpatient, outpatient and community mental health settings.

I have a passion for watching clients learn to love and take care of themselves in ways that feel both nurturing and empowering. I enjoy helping people navigate the transitions and challenges of life. I am passionate about supporting the LGBT+ community, trauma survivors, cycle breakers, healthcare workers and those struggling with body image concerns. I practice from a HAES (health at every size) framework and practice with compassion and inclusivity for all people.

These are all issues that can be overcome, resulting in a fulfilling and peaceful existence.

I help experts get out of the hamster wheel. They overcome the self-sabotages of procrastination, overeating, overdrinking, and more. My clients want a clear result, but feel stuck on doing it themselves. They've tried all the regular tips and tricks. I help them achieve the result and cheer them along on each step.

Providing education and facts surrounding sex, intimacy, and relationships is so important, especially when it was absent or shrouded in fear, shame, or mystery while growing up. Too many of us have received inaccurate or little information about sex and our bodies. I want to provide a space for you to explore and understand how sex and intimacy fit in with who you are now to promote safety, pleasure, and connection. I am EMDR trained and am in the process of completing my Sex Therapist Certification.

I am passionate about meeting others where they are and working to develop a strong therapeutic relationship. I believe the therapeutic process is a collaborative journey in which a client allows me to walk alongside of them, using my skills to aid in their progress and process.

Daryn V. Hunt is a licensed professional social worker with more than 25 years experience working with children and families. Daryn earned her Master's degree in social work from the Ohio State University. Her early career was in community mental health making home visits to engage children, adolescents and parents in counseling. Once Daryn's children were school age, she embarked on a 10 year journey working in juvenile jail to continue working with children, adolescents and parents in crisis. At this time, Daryn became trained in trauma informed care over a 2 year period of time.
