Are you struggling with anxious or ruminating thoughts, restlessness, difficulty concentrating, lethargy, lack of motivation, or isolation, which may have been manageable previously but now is an issue? You may struggle with creating a support network or having boundaries with others. Are there unresolved trauma issues that you may not be acknowledging? You are looking for insight & help with your active symptoms, like managing your anxiety, ruminating thoughts, or negative self-talk. You would like to develop coping skills that are easily applicable to your daily routine while increasing the quality of your supports.

There is a curious habit that I've noticed, especially when working with teens, that clients will mostly only work on the "issue of the week." This can have numerous benefits and can also delay the client's progress on any underlying concerns or patterns. Ideally, once a client has agreed to their treatment goals, they continue to take attainable steps towards that goal in therapy and in their daily life. When a client feels comfortable with their therapist to share their thoughts, emotions, and vulnerabilities, then deeper work can happen.

Something is not feeling right or going the way you would like it to in your life. Maybe its depression or anxiety, a relationship that has gone sour, maybe you feel stuck or confused, lost or just plain not content with how things are going. You would like a change, a goal to be reached, or to better understand yourself or someone else. I believe I can help with these types of challenges. Being a therapist is not just a job to me. The relationship of client and therapist gives me a feeling of profound awe and respect, and often love. I love my job and I love that maybe, just maybe, I can help you embody the change you are seeking.

Welcome to your healing space and thank you for choosing to take the time to read about me and the services I offer. I firmly believe that your journey to mental/emotional/spiritual wellness is a very personal decision that must be scripted by you. Sometimes the decisions of other people impact our lives in ways that leave us having to pick up the pieces. No matter where you have been or what you have been through, with a little intention and shift in how you move, healing and wholeness can be yours not just for the moment, but as a permanent way of existing.

My ideal client is ready to do the hard work of making real change in their life. Sometimes, people think change has to be big to start therapeutic services; it doesn’t. Sometimes, learning to breathe, decrease anxiety, and be more mindful of your strengths can become a great asset. Therapy doesn’t have to be forever; sometimes, you just need help getting through the now. I help individuals & families dealing with chronic illnesses and end of life. At times like those, crises often happen: medical conflict, spiritual conflict, familial conflict, financial concerns, housing and food insecurity.

Are you a woman who has ever asked herself "Why am I like this?" Because your're feeling caught in a loop of overthinking, people-pleasing, and striving for unreachable perfection? Exhausted by trying to be everything to everyone and getting caught in the spiral of worries? Burdened by unhealed wounds, strained relationships, or that nagging feeling of being stuck and unfulfilled? Tired of just treating symptoms rather than healing the root causes of your 'stuckness?' Craving a life ignited with purpose, a life where you're thriving, not just surviving, leaving behind the impulse to compare it to everyone else's 'highlight reel'?

Life is a complex story woven from our experiences, beliefs, and feelings. Each of us carries a unique history, shaped by childhood memories and significant life events, which can influence the stories we tell about ourselves and our lives. The more challenging experiences we encounter may make us feel stuck or overwhelmed, but therapy can offer a way through! If you're looking to take control of your life, find your path, or seek personal growth and insight, I am here to guide and support you on this journey.

I am currently accepting clients. I believe it is important to find a good fit when seeking a therapist. My approach is best described as open, whole-person, strength-based, barrier solving, collaborative and growth-oriented. My goal for everyone is simple: for them to get help, grow, and move on. If you are feeling anxious, stressed out, sad, stuck, frustrated, tired of conflict, uncertain about transitions into adulthood or midlife, I believe we would be a good match.

Accepting new clients. So often, we wear masks for the benefit of those around us while inside, we suffer. I want to normalize that even though you've been through a lot, there's hope that things can improve. If you want a therapist who takes a non-judgmental stand to support you and guide you through your problems, let me help you. I identify with a culturally sensitive approach because vulnerability is difficult for anyone, and having someone who understands you can help.

Are you a young adult experiencing issues of trauma, human trafficking, anxiety, or borderline personality disorders? Do you desire to try new things and be committed to finding what works for you? Do you want relief from what you are struggling with daily? Your goals start short term, to gain confidence in the changes to your life. You would complete homework-based therapy outside of a session.

Are you a young adult woman experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, and even trauma? Self-discovery and creating/finding identity are goals I work best with. In my most recent job, I have found that domestic violence survivors and women who experience issues specific to being a woman have piqued my interest. As a therapist, the most rewarding thing is to guide women toward embracing themselves for who they are, heal past wounds, and empower them to live fully and authentically. I believe I have been given a purpose in this world to serve others, and that's what I was created to do.

My ideal client is motivated to roll up their sleeves and engage in the therapeutic process. They are able to hold an open mind and practice effective coping skills to improve their overall functioning and quality of life. They can challenge themselves to be vulnerable and practice accountability while processing their problematic thinking patterns and behaviors in a safe and non-judgmental environment. They wish to engage in therapy because they realize that they need to make a change and are willing to take a leap of faith to make it happen.
