Megan is experienced in working with adults experiencing various mental health concerns, mood disorders, personality disorders, and trauma. She has extensive knowledge on trauma, trauma responses and the neurobiology of trauma, and has facilitated both individual and group counseling for individuals with these concerns. As a queer practitioner, Megan has experience leading both individual and group counseling for LGBTQIA+ populations who may be experiencing concerns related to identity. Megan is aligned with and open to working with non-monogamous and alternative relationship styles and orientations.

Here to provide guidance and hold space as you shift the paradigm and awaken the healer within. Calling out the oppressive systems which cause dis-ease (including an oppressive mental health system) in order to build a community of folks invested in a personal and collective healing.

I am an Licensed Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist with special training in the attachment theory-based modality of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy. I believe in building a relationship with clients where they feel safe and accepted, yet challenged to grow. Through this therapeutic relationship, individuals, couples, and families can heal and develop new perspectives and practices they can use throughout their entire lives. I utilize an array of techniques, including psycho-education, genograms, role plays, art therapy, and communication exercises, but I feel the most important aspect to therapy is developing a unique relationship with each client.

Ebb & Flow Counseling has found a home in the Greater Cleveland area! I have worked in many different settings and always felt like something was missing. Therefore I created this studio to help on a holistic level. My goal is to constantly evolve with the practice and learn relevant techniques.
