Our approach to therapy is one in which our clients are viewed as resilient and resourceful. Our office is a place where change happens. I am now offering Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy to our practice. Horses are extremely intuitive animals and are able to help facilitate change on an emotional relational level that enhances the healing process.I have had a long interest in horses and find a healing effect to be activated when in their presence. This realization was probably the most important driving force that propelled me into this horse/person connection as a modality for treatment.

It takes a lot of courage to do the emotional work necessary to change patterns of personality and behavior that no longer serve you and / or get in the way of having healthy relationships in your life. I provide a safe, nurturing environment to do this work so that you can live more consciously. My focus is client driven - meeting you where you are, and assisting you with authentic growth towards living an aligned and empowered life. I also have a passion in assisting people in making transitions in their lives that can feel unsettling - be it from a loss, becoming a new parent or empty nester, divorce, or making a big move.

I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, passionate about helping others become the best versions of themselves in order to live their best lives. I believe an essential feature of counseling is that I provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere in which you can begin to heal and thrive. I strive to help you identify your strengths and positive traits to assist in building confidence and self-esteem. Many of our mental health challenges are linked to our thoughts. Once we begin to change our thoughts about ourselves, our situations, and those around us, we begin to acquire serenity.

**Currently only accepting self-pay clients. Someone with the wrong prescription of glasses will inevitably trip and fall, regardless of how good or bad their vision is, and regardless of how many coffee tables they’ve kicked. Stevie aspires to help clients in finding their exact lens, both providing clarity and decreasing undesirable symptoms–even if that’s only coffee table bruises.

Life has a way of making you feel like you aren't where you need to be or who you want to be. Our experiences can often make us feel hopeless and alone. I believe that while everyone's journey is different, the need for support during times of struggle is not. As a therapist, I strive to help everyone experience more self-compassion and balance.

I find that many people just want to feel better, be happier, feel less anxious. They want to change their lives or at least become aware of their desire to improve the situation. I like the challenge of assisting people with self-limiting beliefs that can create anything less than a fulfilled and happy life. I enjoy helping people with their relationships, marital or otherwise and relish working with couples, helping them redefine their differences, improve communication and rejuvenate their intimacy, sexuaI and emotional.

Jungian Therapists
How does Jungian therapy work?
Jungian therapy, also called analytical psychology, focuses on a patient’s inner experiences and unconscious mind. Exploring a person’s unconscious mind can be achieved through several means, including the analysis of memories and dreams, and through physical exercises, such as art, dance, and word association.
How long does Jungian therapy last?
Jungian therapy is an intensive treatment type. Because its goal is to understand a person as a whole, including the unconscious aspects of them, treatment can range from months to years. Since patients learn the theory behind Jungian therapy during treatment, they can also practice its tenets throughout life after therapy sessions have completed.
Is Jungian therapy effective?
According to studies, many patients find success with Jungian therapy, and the century-old treatment has a devoted following. Researchers note that the therapy is particularly useful in improving relationships, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression. Improvements in problem areas seem to continue even after the end of Jungian therapy, as people are able to continue working on themselves using the tools they’ve learned during the treatment.
Is Jungian therapy evidence-based?
Jungian therapy is theory-based, derived from the theories of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist often called one of the fathers of psychology, along with Sigmund Freud. Jung developed his theories from observing the problems of patients, and developed many theories of how the mind works. Subsequent psychological research has determined that Jungian therapy can lead to significant improvement in most patients.
