She has previously worked in community mental health care at Catholic Charities providing in home and in school therapy to children, at risk teens and families. Heather has received advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Christine Dessoffy is a licensed professional clinical counselor with supervisory designation and an independent chemical dependency counselor. She has more than 20 years of clinical experience including senior clinical director positions at community mental health centers. She also served as division manager for the Cuyahoga County Department of Justice Affairs. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees at Kent State University. She sees adolescents and adults, specializing in treatment of anxiety, depression and substance abuse disorders.

Katie Kuzmishin Mast is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Therapy (CT), receiving certification through Cleveland’s Center for Cognitive Therapy in 2022. She generally uses an interdisciplinary approach, however, which includes Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Counseling, and a systems-approach to identifying and solving problems with clients.

Mercedes Bryjak received her bachelor's degree in language arts and psychology from Cleveland State University. She obtained her master degree in community counseling as well as marriage and family therapy from University of Akron. Mercedes is currently pursuing certification in sex therapy. She specializes in utilizing systemic approach in conceptualization and treatment of complex needs of individuals, couples and families.

Michelle E. Anderson is an LPCC-S (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory Status) and has been practicing since 2007. Michelle initially graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from Walsh University and taught Second grade for 10 years prior to returning to college for a Maters of Arts in Community Counseling at The University of Akron. While working on her PhD, Michelle taught Masters level classes at John Carroll University and The University of Akron in issues with sexuality and group counseling theories and practices.

I am passionate about working with adults, children, and adolescents to make positive changes in their life. I specialize in working with people who have experienced trauma and I have experience treating a variety of mental health concerns, including ADHD, depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, grief, and life transitions. Additionally, I am a licensed supervisor and am interested in working with novice counselors.
