I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who has been practicing for over 30 years. My areas of competency include Individual, Couples, Family and Group Therapy, as well as Supervision, Consultation, and Diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional disorders. My focus is on assisting clients with options, and alternatives as they strive toward wholeness in their lives.

I provide empirically-supported psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. My work is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. My areas of specialization include anxiety disorders, with particular emphasis on OCD, and parenting management, particularly for children with anxiety and behavioral dysregulation.

Compass was founded with the vision of empowering individuals who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, social, or other challenges to utilize their strengths to achieve their goals. These goals vary by individual; clients may present with goals to improve their academic or occupational functioning, foster healthier relationships, take control of powerful emotional responses, or (most commonly) to get answers about the sources of their struggles through psychological testing that we use to inform individualized treatment planning. I have been a practicing clinical social worker for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in working with individuals, couples, and families. I work with clients who are at least 13 years of age. I believe I excel in assisting clients work through depression, anxiety, and /or life issues that impede an individual or a couple in maximizing their potential. Because I believe that children are often the victims of adversarial divorces, I am also a certified divorce and family mediator with the Court of Common Pleas. My focus in my mediation work is to help children of divorce.

As a proponent of holistic healing, I am working toward the use of yoga, yoga for trauma, meditation, and wellness coaching in my practice.
