Octavia has been a resident of Baltimore for over 24 years and recently obtained her master’s degree in clinical professional counseling. She identifies as a black, queer/bisexual woman who enjoys experiencing new adventures through hobbies such as international travel and immersion in nature. She takes pride in her familial/social relationships with her community of people and the development of those relationships over her life.
She works with young adults (17+) and adults struggling with difficulties such as depression, ADHD, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, and/or life transitions. Octavia’s approach to therapy is evidence-based utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) techniques/skills.
