My name is Dr. Gina Ferrandino. I am a PsyD. New York and New Jersey Licensed Clinical Psychologist with 30 years of expertise working with individuals, couples, and families in a variety of treatment settings. To keep it real, in many cultures/communities, such as the African American (Black) community, we might have been taught to either “pray” about our situations, issues, and emotions or “suck it up and keep it moving.” This can create negative energies such as anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, and other mental health issues that need to be addressed in a healthy manner.
