Hi and welcome! I have had the true honor in witnessing through my clients, the strength and growth that people are capable of. I pride myself in creating a safe space for self exploration, healing, empowerment and problem-solving. I believe each session is an opportunity to freely be yourself through exploring your past, present and working to cultivate helpful strategies to take with you from the present day and on. I have taken intentional and diligent steps to be skilled in several treatment approaches to address: trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, family issues and identity development concerns.

I work with people to help them sort through the things that can feel so overwhelming at times. I believe it is important to feel supported when confronted with life's struggles. Sometimes we have so much going on in our lives that we need someone to help us figure things out. Together we will work to create a firm understanding of what's going on and how we can make things better. You will be able to have healing in the places you need, and growth in the places you want.

Often there are times when nothing really seems wrong in our lives, yet there is this sadness or anger, and we don't know where it comes from. Therapy can be beneficial in working on our known difficulties and the areas of ourselves that we need to become more familiar with. As a therapist, I aim to guide you toward healing, develop new skills and insights, and work collaboratively to produce the changes you want to see.

You feel unheard, overextended, and unable to keep up. You're stressed and aren't taking care of yourself like before. You feel anxious and isolated and it's destroying your relationships with others, making work difficult and distracting you from your goals. You've lost sight of your needs and wonder if you will ever feel good again.

Life is hard. Time flies by and you often feel you no longer can keep up with daily life. You feel like you aren’t being your authentic self and have no time left for you by the end of the day. Everyone else’s needs come first and you have difficulty saying no or setting limits that feel good. Your relationships struggle. Your emotions often feel out of control and unmanageable. Loved ones make comments that you’re too “sensitive” or “dramatic”. Your daily life is suffering and you no longer know how to reach your goals, you may no longer even know what your goals are. You just know you’re unhappy and something needs to change.

It is a joy and an honor to work with individuals who come with the hope of finding a place of comfort and safety, a place where they can begin to explore their emotional needs while using the therapy relationship as a platform for this journey. As a provider in the mental health field for over 20 years, I work to offer this relationship and feel that those who make this challenging step are courageous people who work to heal themselves and in response, bring this good work and its results into all the relationships in their life. It is a wonderful journey for those that allow me to stand beside.

I support individuals by bridging the gap between where they are right now and where they want to be in the future! My main goal is to help everyone live happier lives and feel better about themselves doing it. I have a general practice, which means that I work with a variety of people with a variety of issues in individual and couple counseling. My area of interest is working with people through individual therapy, who may find themselves overwhelmed, stressed, depressed or anxious in their daily lives. My therapeutic style is supportive, warm, honest, and non-judgmental.

Taking new couples NOW! I am passionate about all things “relationship.” I believe that we are in relationship to everything, all the time. The trouble is that no one teaches us how to DO relationships well. We must learn what makes the patterns in our relationship heathy or harmful. Each of us has the power to grow our relationships into something beautiful. I have spent many years researching and studying what makes relationships last, what makes them grow and what makes them end. I am determined to help guide you and your partner to your highest relationship potential possible.
