Being formally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as well as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) has allowed me to help clients with severe emotional dysregulation who have not found relief with other therapists.
I work with my clients to provide much needed mindfulness and coping skills in order to combat day to day stressors. We work together to create achievable goals and then utilize emotion regulation and practical problem solving skills in order to obtain these goals. When working with adolescents, it is also important to provide support to school personnel and families in order to see gains in treatment. Many of my clients have struggled with self-harm and issues with self-acceptance. I help to provide healing and validation that is needed in order to finally be free of these struggles.

I am well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Anger Management, certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and utilize these technique for individuals who seek help with anxiety, depression, anger issues and PTSD.
Seeking help for mental health challenges can be uncomfortable for many. Individuals need a therapist that can create a non-judgmental, empathic space where clients can feel safe. In my work with clients, I prioritize establishing that safety by approaching people with compassion and curiosity. I strive to provide clients with the highest quality of care by continuing my education on issues that are most relevant to my client's needs. I believe that therapy must be tailored the individual's needs and collaborate with my clients to help them cope with anxiety, depression, and trauma.
