After learning DBT in 2008, I created DBT partial hospital programs and SAGE, a modular intensive DBT program for emerging adults and their parents. I trained other clinicians in DBT and consulted to agencies. Today, I often use DBT to help people stick to their intentions and goals, rather than feeling controlled by their moods.
