**Free 30-min Video Consultation** Being in the circus taught me that juggling too many balls in the air can lead to feeling like you're always picking up the pieces rather than enjoying the show. While our emotions float up and down, we start applying binary labels of "good" (happy) and "bad" (anger, sadness, anxiety) that our systems (e.g., US Society, Family, Culture) has assigned. Improve self-awareness of our emotions, thoughts, and the stories we tell ourselves about our worth internally, with others, and in the world. Change the Narrative you've internalized through identifying, observing, respecting, and accepting emotions.

Many of us are dealing with life issues that limit, hinder and block our movement into better places internally, behaviorally and more. I have spent years helping people be and become their personal best. We all have the potential to grow, heal, recover, change and transform. Counseling and Psychotherapy helps in the process of achieving these life goals. People often need assistance at critical times in their lives. This is what my work is all about...helping people Identify the problem or issue, develop a plan of action and work to achieve goal. I believe, with real help, people can achieve greatness.

Do you have it all together on the outside, but inside you’re drowning? In anxiety, traumatic memories, self-doubt, stress in your relationships? Perhaps you find yourself repeating unhealthy patterns, even though you know they aren’t doing you any good. You can break free. Confidence, self-compassion, healthy relationships, and healing are possible, and therapy can help.

Parents of kids under 10: Are you struggling to show up for your kids the way you want because you’re feeling overwhelmed or weighed down with worry, sadness, or maybe even feeling nothing at all? And no matter how badly you want to “do better,” you find yourself snapping, yelling, making threats, and cringing as your own parents’ words come out of your mouth, leaving you wondering if you’re broken and unfixable and failing at the job that matters most to you. Or has your child's medical or psychological diagnosis left you feeling scared and confused and alone?

I like to think of myself as a seasoned clinician who has adapted and adjusted to the changing times. I am currently providing telehealth services only. I have evolved my craft toward a mindfully oriented practice which I combine with cognitive, behavioral and DBT techniques. My work supports adults (26+) going through their journey of radical acceptance focusing on those life changing events which can often cause emotional dysregulation.

Are you aiming to improve your relationships with the goal of creating a greater sense of community support? Are you self-motivated and interested in processing your life experiences to find patterns and make meaning of your emotional experiences? A typical client will be aligned with the belief in the importance of community and community care. I work with clients who are ready to do "the work." The expectation is that clients show up regularly and on time for sessions.

I have worked with clients with issues such as marital problems, but they improved self-esteem, advocacy, and assertiveness in therapy, which reduced conflict with their spouse. My ideal client is someone motivated to change at the onset of therapy, who is committed to attending regular therapy sessions, identifies their goals, and focuses on a collaborative process to achieve their goals.

If you've been feeling stuck for a while, or are getting tired of knowing you're not at your best, it might be time to think about starting therapy. Many people know themselves enough to recognize that something is "off" and would benefit from talking through what they need to do to get to a better head space. You don't necessarily need a specific diagnosis or a specific goal in mind to know that you would like to start feeling better. Remember, "asking for help means you are strong enough to realize you deserve it."

I often hear, "But other people have it worse," in an attempt to downplay our struggles and make things feel more manageable. While this mindset may be helpful at times, it also minimizes the importance of our current situation and dismisses our feelings. Whatever you are facing, if it's important to you it's also important to me. As a clinician with experience in multiple therapeutic settings, I have treated panic disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have a special spot in my heart for grief and loss and earned a certification in Grief Therapy.

Existing as a human being these days can be rough. "Existing" translates into "not living fully." This is no fun for anybody. Many individuals suffer from uncomfortable symptoms leading to feelings of sadness, irritability, or fatigue. Others experience trouble concentrating, racing or negative thoughts, and even difficulty breathing. You are not alone in this complicated world; it's easy to get off course and/or it can be difficult to find your way due to various roadblocks. It may help to work with a person outside your friend & family groups in an effort to gain a fresh perspective, to be seen with unbiased, non-judgmental eyes.
