I work from a trauma-focused, strengths-based somatic and relational perspective to help you release shame via self-compassion. I view even the coping mechanisms that make us feel the most stuck as examples of our bodies’ incredible resiliency & drive to keep us safe. Within the therapeutic dynamic, I seek to help you identify and unlearn harmful cultural conditioning and, with the courage of authenticity, uncover your own innate wisdom. To me, therapy is a place where we can explore creative self-expression and practice intentional relationship building in order to live more authentic, joyful, and embodied lives.

Using a blend of AEDP, IFS, and Somatic therapies I help clients learn to love themselves deeply, communicate effectively, build self-confidence, and get more of their needs met.
On the surface, you seem fine. But inside, you’re full of insecurity, doubt, and constant overthinking. You’re driven to succeed, but the expectations you put on yourself are so high it feels like you'll never live up. You worry people won't accept or love the "real you" & truthfully you struggle to as well, so you hide your true self and put on a happy face. You want to communicate more effectively, trust yourself more, and manage your emotions better, but how? It feels like you're always stuck in the same loop and can't break free. I get it, and I can help!

My expertise is in getting underneath familiar loops of anxiety and depression using powerful somatic modalities (AEDP, EMDR, EFT) that go further than just talk therapy.
So many of us turn to therapy because we're exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck. We're confused by our own reactions, beliefs, and thoughts. Often it can feel like we're fighting against ourselves and unintentionally hurting us and others in the process. Even if we have a vague understanding of our negative patterns, unbinding them can seem daunting. We're surrounded by people, information, and options, yet we feel more insecure, lost, and lonely than ever. Even the act of finding a therapist is distressing. But if you're here trying, I believe it speaks to the resilience emerging inside of you, driving you toward relief and change.

My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, non-judged, and truly seen and heard. Building a trusting and authentic connection is essential before real therapy work can begin. I collaborate with clients to deepen self-understanding, find meaning in life's challenges, and ultimately live more fully and authentically. I take an integrative, holistic approach tailored to each client's unique and evolving needs. Understanding the mind-body connection, I incorporate somatic strategies to build embodied awareness and regulation skills. My training allows me to attune to the profound wisdom held in the body.

I work with both individuals and relationships. My work is rooted in developing a strong therapeutic relationship. I invite clients to explore relational dynamics and to safely become more honest with themselves and others. I support clients to clearly identify boundaries, honor desires, and expand their capacity to tap into innate resources. My approach is informed by psychodynamic theory, somatic experiential interventions, spiritual and archetypal counseling, parts work, creative arts therapy, and goal-oriented coaching. Together we will facilitate changes that are both radical and sustainable.

I am an integrative therapist and incorporate insight-oriented therapy approaches with neurobiologically and somatic-informed approaches that accelerate healing and growth.
I am a bilingual (English/Spanish), LGBTQ-affirmative, trauma-informed, sex-positive therapist. I work with individuals empowering you to feel free and live authentically. You might be here because you are exploring your sexuality, relationships, or other aspects of your identity. You may be feeling burnt out and wanting to improve your performance and creativity. Perhaps a past or recent trauma has caused symptoms that are impacting you. I also help many people struggling with chronic health issues and physical symptoms. These issues can cause us to feel stuck, and I collaborate closely to help you thrive and find peace within.

My approach is trauma informed, parts informed, somatic, healing focused, culturally grounded, and liberation oriented.
If you are struggling with stress, sadness, rage, overwhelm, and loss, I can help. As you move through your current struggles, would you like to work together for connection, healing, learning, and liberation? Would you like to explore all aspects of your identity and how they are uniquely connected to community, culture, family, history, and structural power? Would you like to tell your story and have someone bear witness to the telling? With a warm, empathic, listening, and embodied style, I focus on identifying wellness strategies, creating communities of support and healing while connecting people to necessary resources.

I am trained in somatic and trauma-informed therapies that engage the wisdom of our emotions and our body to heal trauma, enhance your connections with others, and bring about embodied insight and relief.
For those of us who do not feel loved and appreciated by this world, it can be difficult to trust ourselves and to honor our worth. Maybe the intergenerational traumas and ongoing struggles of our cultures and communities lead us to disconnect from others or to feel dissociated from ourselves. Maybe we diminish our feelings or hide parts of ourselves as survival strategies. When tangible systemic change seems slow or even impossible, it can also feel like self-love and joy are forever out of our reach.

I incorporate somatic and mindfulness practices with these frameworks to help you discover and change unconscious patterns and attachment dynamics.
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, or grief that affects your ability to function and connect in relationships? Do you feel overwhelmed and stuck, like time is passing you by? Perhaps you get caught in ruminating loops of worry or find yourself feeling despairing and empty. Do you continually distract and insulate yourself from your feelings? Or wonder if life could be better if you could feel everything less intensely? If you work with me, we can first work on regulating your emotions so you can feel and function better. Then, we can explore the unconscious and intergenerational dynamics that block you from moving forward.

I can help you restore access to your inner resources, incorporating concrete techniques from somatic approaches (for instance, grounding) as well as elements of cognitive therapy, mindfulness, and insight-oriented therapy.
Are you struggling with over-thinking, worry, procrastination, or chronic stress? Or maybe noticing that you keep repeating the same relationship mistakes, or struggling to find the motivation to date, despite wanting to find a relationship? People often come to therapy looking to shift the way they manage their relationships or the day to day flow of coping with stress. I can help you unstick those old, stuck patterns and free up your available energy so that you can grow, change, and thrive rather than just survive.

In my practice, I utilize psychoanalytic and somatic (body-mind) therapy.
The most important aspect of therapy is a trusting relationship in which one feels valued, understood, recognized and seen. I work with people who want to understand the connections between past experiences and patterns in their current lives to have more satisfying relationships. The people I work with want to feel connected to others, repair past relationships, participate in corrective and reparatory experiences, understand their feelings, actions and thoughts, and be at peace with themselves. Many suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, body image or eating, and find themselves in challenging periods of transitions.
