I have been seeing patients for over 19 years and my experience has shown me time and again the wonderful changes that individuals can attain when they become more aware of the hidden meanings behind seemingly incomprehensible and self-destructive behaviors. When one takes the time to try to understand these behaviors instead of simply judging them negatively, it is often the case that maladaptive behavior patterns are discovered to be attempts persisting from the past at finding the best solution to a difficult situation.

Your anxiety interferes with your sleep. You critique everything you have said daily. You feel as though your emotions are overpowering, You feel that some of the experiences in your life have caused you to lose your enthusiasm, and so you have difficulty believing that you will get better. Sometimes you lay awake at night thinking about what you can do to alleviate your stress, and you find yourself picking up a drink, or binging on ice cream. You have noticed the tension in your body and your inability to fully relax. You are pessimistic in your thinking, and you want to climb out of this abyss, but can’t find the way

I’m an IFS therapist and coach dedicated to helping passionate professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders find their aliveness, unlock their full potential, and live with joy and purpose. I work with those among us I call the Walking Wounded. You may thrive in some areas yet struggle to survive in the psychospiritual dimension of life. You put on a brave face day in and day out while secretly fighting battles with your inner demons. You've ticked off all the boxes and still experience no real joy, freedom, peace, or love. Your insides don’t match your outsides. You believe at the root of your suffering lies unresolved trauma.

Life is complex, and you might experience a gap between what you want and where you are at. If you are feeling stuck, anxious, perhaps experiencing difficulty making important decisions, or feeling that your life is not moving in the direction you want; psychotherapy might be a space for you to evolve in the way you desire by learning about yourself and ways to transition your current circumstances.

Sometimes life isn’t easy ! As a matter of fact life can be extremely demanding. Daily stress, life pressures and complicated pasts can make us feel unbalanced and overwhelmed. More times than not, things like stress, anxiety, anger and sadness are normalized yet they impact our emotional wellbeing and relationship with others. We often sacrifice our self-care by not prioritizing our own needs in order to fulfill demanding roles which often leave us unfulfilled. You are not alone ! Empowering others to develop a stronger sense of self has always been my passion.

Maybe you're unsure of what is bothering you, but are aware that something isn’t working for you anymore. Perhaps you're supportive and patient with others, but are self-critical, high-achieving, and set unrealistic expectations for yourself. Maybe you're tired of worrying all the time or feeling stuck in cycles of thinking about the same things. Until now, you've likely been pushing yourself to cope with what you’ve been feeling on your own. If you tend to prioritize others, you may be hoping to learn how to set healthy boundaries and communicate assertively, so you can better tend to your own needs.

We often underestimate the effect of past experiences on our personality, self-image, and current relational patterns. Together, we will bridge gaps between the past and present and identify the patterns of behavior, coping, and interpersonal functioning that no longer serve you. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental, empathic, and candid, with humoristic relief. I firmly believe that therapy isn't changing you if it isn't challenging you. I strive to build a solid therapeutic relationship and supportive foundation to safely explore uncomfortable thoughts and feelings and promote a greater understanding of self and others.

Have you been feeling worried, overwhelmed, or stuck lately? Do you tend to keep your struggles to yourself because no one really understands? Too often we isolate instead of reaching out when things get tough, but you don’t have to go through it alone. My approach is integrative and rooted in authenticity, trust, and empathy. I specialize in working with young adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, have trouble managing their ADHD, are going through a life transition, or simply want a non-judgemental safe space to explore their feelings and better understand themselves.

The upheaval of the past few years has led to an awakening regarding the importance of nurturing our mental health. Many people are facing increased anxiety, depression, isolation, and uncertainty in light of today’s life challenges and changes. Some are recognizing a feeling of loss and grief that transcends the traditional definition. Others are struggling to be seen, heard, and affirmed. These experiences can be related to relationships, family, work/career, school, racial trauma, or physical health.

Are you feeling anxious, sad and alone? Do you feel overwhelmed by your issues and stuck in your present situation? Do you you need support to help guide you through these issues so that you can be in a better place? I had a client with similar issues. She was 63 years old who lost her job due to downsizing. She was also divorced. Many of her friends left and the ones she had were not supportive. She was always a career person working as an Assistant Director of Human Resources. Since her job was terminated, she felt no one would hire her again and she felt worthless.

In an era where we’re bombarded with self-love messaging from all sides, too many of us are left to struggle with the nagging question: “But how do I love myself?” Some of us—especially those carrying marginalized identities—were never taught. Instead, we were given life scripts urging us to make ourselves small and focus solely on the ways we come up short. The fact that you’ve taken this step to find support is a pivotal moment; you’re acknowledging that you deserve better, and you’re willing to do the work to get there. I’d love to help you with that.
