My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you feel safe, non-judged, and truly seen and heard. Building a trusting and authentic connection is essential before real therapy work can begin. I collaborate with clients to deepen self-understanding, find meaning in life's challenges, and ultimately live more fully and authentically. I take an integrative, holistic approach tailored to each client's unique and evolving needs. Understanding the mind-body connection, I incorporate somatic strategies to build embodied awareness and regulation skills. My training allows me to attune to the profound wisdom held in the body.

You are enough. But it can feel hard to believe that when culture, family, society tells you otherwise. When you're told to be quiet and not take up space, you play small, mask, shape shift, and code switch. When you have to fight for a seat at any table, impostor syndrome and self-doubt set in. When you're shamed for your gender, sexuality, identity, or told your body is something to fix instead of love, self rejection, low self esteem and perfectionism shows up. It can feel damn near impossible to believe you are enough when you are faced with racism, misogyny, homophobia, ableism, anti-fatness and all the other "ists" and "isms".

Struggle is inevitable when we live true to ourselves and try to go after what we want. But is it supposed to be THIS hard? Many of my clients come with this question. Through our work and your own creativity, we can find new ways to be in your relationship with yourself and your loved ones that feel joyful, connected, and alive. Because therapy is a space where we have sometimes need to have hard, honest conversations, I am dedicated to radical gentleness, acceptance, and compassion. I work from a parts frame work, meaning different parts of ourselves are sometimes in conflict and healing involves integration into a whole.

I believe everyone has a story that needs to be shared. Therapy can be a space where we challenge how we relate to our stories as well as the one's we've been told by our families, cultures, and society. Therapy can also be a space where we reckon with the universal systems and histories of oppression that have impacted our stories, our ability to tell them, and how we feel they are received in the world. I provide support to those who are motivated towards greater understandings of their stories in order to heal the connections in their relationships with themselves and others.

How the hell did I/we end up here? When are things going to finally shift for me/us? Life, relationships, job: Could be worse, but could be waaaay better. If any of these statements capture where you're at - welcome to therapy. Whether it's your first time looking for a therapist, or your second decade in treatment, with me, you can bring your whole self - with its questions, stuckness, fears, longings, uncertainties - and find ways to move through. Described as "warm" and "direct" by clients, my work is strongly grounded by anti-racism, critical multicultural theories, and affective neuroscience.
