I am a clinical psychologist and licensed behavior analyst specializing in the treatment of children and families dealing with behavior disorders. My ideal client is a child who needs help with management of challenging behavior, emotion regulation, anxiety, and other related issues. The family should be interested in a team approach, with direct, regular involvement in treatment.

I have 20 years of experience working with children, teens, adults and families. This experience has helped me to assist children, teens and adults in exploring, naming their feelings, finding healthy ways to manage negative feelings and tendencies. With children and teens I work to access their families and community resources so they can take advantage of appropriate supports. With teens and young adults I work on discovering, uncovering what they need from others. I also help them work on separating in a healthy manner while maintaining appropriate attachments to their families of origin.

I am a Licensed Masters Social Worker in the states of New York and Connecticut. I recognize that social stressors, socioeconomic issues, balance of work/family life, and relationship issues can impact ones mental health. I was influenced to partner with others to support them on their journeys to emotional and mental well being. I have worked in the social service field for 20 years. I have experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, various mental health disorders, children with developmental delays and/or behavioral issues, as well as with teens struggling with self esteem issues, and/or mental health issues.

Our individual therapies include play, creative arts and talk therapy for children and adolescents struggling with functioning in their families, school, community, and social/interpersonal relationships. Cognitive Behavioral / Behavior Modification interventions are also provided. Hope Services, LLC is located in the Mill Basin section of Brooklyn, New York. We are a dynamic, innovative, pragmatic and professional outpatient mental health service program with a patient-centered treatment model that is geared toward providing services to the multicultural community within which it operates. With a specialty in providing treatment to children and adolescents (ages 5-18), Hope Services, LLC also accepts and treats adults.
