Liz is a published author on trauma and topics within forensic psychology. She graduated in 2001 with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and continues to teach in the program she graduated from. Her primary approach is a deep and abiding respect for people and their individual experiences.

Malika Mitchell, MSW, LMSW is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Touro College. Malika received her undergraduate degree from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She has over 15 years experience working in a variety of settings and a diverse client population including children, adolescents, adults, seniors, individuals, and families. Malika is an established mental health counselor and has been doing clinical practice the last several years. Malika began her career working with children and families at New York City Administration for Children's Services.
