I work with adults having difficulty coping with midlife issues such as empty nest, marital changes, career changes, second careers, health concerns and relationships with adult children. I also work with couples, helping them find their way again.

From a young age, I've been drawn to supporting others, whether it was learning basic ASL to assist my elderly neighbor, mediating disputes among friends, or simply offering a compassionate ear. Social Work feels like a natural path that chose me, driven by my own experiences and a passion for helping people find their footing. My journey includes a bachelor's in psychology from Franklin & Marshall College, ongoing studies for a master's degree in social work at Fordham University, and certification in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

I love to work with individuals and couples to discover the emotions and attachment needs which drive their thoughts and behaviors. Sometimes we have feelings that are difficult to experience or express, and so we act in ways to protect the most vulnerable parts of ourselves. This may lead to conflict in our primary relationships, depression, anxiety, substance use, or just the sense that one's life could be more fulfilling. In couples, this can lead to cycles of communication that make it difficult for each partner to know how to soothe their partner and their own self.
