Our clients come to us for culturally relevant & generationally inclusive individual counseling to positively adjust to changes in their lives, better navigate anxiety, cope with depression, heal from grief, explore their identities, resolve interpersonal conflicts, and to unpack trauma/racial trauma so that they can live optimally happy lives. Our clients seek to heal from their pasts by learning healthy ways to change the connectivity of their thoughts, emotions & behaviors and to develop positive coping skills.

My role is to hold space and provide compassionate, open-minded support for clients as they work through life’s challenges and dive into the process of discovering who they are on a deeper level. As an art therapist, I also offer experience in the use of art making as a non-verbal, creative means of expressing emotions, building inner resources, and developing personal agency. Sometimes it can be difficult to describe our internal world with words alone, but the combination of art and traditional talk therapy can make for a powerful mode of healing. Hey there! I am a bilingual (English and Haitian Creole) Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Through my time as a research assistant aiding to conduct studies on the effects of racial discrimination, I became motivated to be a direct support for those in need of mental health resources. As a child of Black immigrants, I believe in the importance of being able to provide clients with a counselor who is culturally sensitive. I make it my primary mission to foster a warm environment with a client first in order to ensure safety and trust. I promote a safe healing environment for individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.

I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship. By fostering a growth mentality, I create an empathetic, warm, and supportive environment for my patients. I understand the role and impact of patients’ past childhood experiences on their lives and bring insight into the interplay between past and current experiences. Through this process, patients will develop healthier behaviors and strengthen their resilience to improve the overall quality of their lives.

I work with clients of all ages whose therapy goals may include improving general mental health, forming healthy attachments and relationships, or minimizing the effects of anxiety and trauma. When it comes to therapy, one size fits one. Some people benefit from a sustained dive into their past, their relationships, or their place in society. Others are more interested in finding solutions to personal problems in the present. For many clients, using music in the therapeutic process allows them to fast-track and optimize the emotional work they need to do before they can make meaningful changes in their lives.
