My approach is to not only develop a warm relationship with every client, based on trust, honesty, and understanding; but to also apply treatment methods that work and help improve your quality of life. I believe therapy can help every person reduce negative thoughts and emotions, improve relationships, and increase personal insight and awareness. I work with every client to develop attainable goals and bring about the change you have been looking for.

I have been a licensed Psychologist in the Greater Danbury area for over 35 years and work with individuals who have a variety of personal concerns and/or mental health issues. My style is relaxed, authentic, empathic, and supportive which encourages patients to share their issues in an unconditionally accepting environment. While I am flexible and eclectic in my approach, I employ psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and solution focused elements in my treatment. My practice includes individuals, couples, families, and late adolescents.

Dr. Brick is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Masters degree from Columbia University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology. Dr. Brick works with adults, families, couples and adolescents and is trained in a variety of treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavior (DBT), family systems, psychodynamic, addiction and juvenile sex offender treatment. She is a member of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers (ATSA).

Dr. Eggleston is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate from Fordham University and a completed Resident Internship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU School of Medicine. He has over fifteen years of clinical experience working at places such as Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Vassar College, and the Karen Horney Institute. He has expertise treating children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Eggleston has extensive training working with mood and anxiety disorders, substance use, spiritual/existential issues, relationship/family dynamics, severe and persistent mental illness, and LGBT-related issues.

Clinician Clelia O'Connell is an experienced LCSW-R with over 25 years of experience. She has post graduate experience with adults in an eclectic psychodynamic Individual Training as well as a Family Systems Therapy Certification from Ackerman Institute for the Family. This clinician has an empathetic responsive method of working with a varied population of problem areas. She is trilingual and is able to conduct sessions in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She understands addiction and women's issues. Ms. O'Connell is respectful of diversity and is open to the LGBQTrans community.

Ms. Sreedhar is a New York State licensed social worker who has spent 15 years working for agencies who contracted with the city of New York to provide foster care and adoption services. Ms. Sreedhar treats adults and children, and enjoys working with older adults, 65 and up. She specializes in trauma and eating disorders.

Marleny Lemus Martinez is a Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York who has been practicing since 2018. She graduated with her Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University. Marleny is an empathetic counselor who believes it’s important to provide a nonjudgmental, safe space to allow clients to heal and grow at their own pace. Her work with clients allows her to deeply connect with them to discover their true selves, feel heard, and experience their desired changes within their healing journey. Outside of work, Marleny is a mother of three boys.

Mr. Silverman is a New York State licensed social worker with over 30 years of experience. He treats adults and couples using a supportive, psychodynamic model and has a progressive and pragmatic approach to real-life issues. Andrew also is a Lawyer having completed his J. D. in 2014. Job coaching and counseling, work stress and financial stress counseling.

Kirsten Carillo is a New York State licensed clinical social worker. She has 2 master's degrees from New York University and post graduate training at Harvard, Columbia and Fordham Universities. Kirsten specializes in working with children, adolescents, families and parents. She has over 20 years of experience working in schools. Kirsten enables individuals/families to change negative patterns of behavior, develop functional coping strategies and find solutions to achieve goals. Treatment is customized to address individualized needs in a strength based, supportive environment.

Ms. Zayani is a NYS licensed social worker with over 25 years experience specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Ms. Zayani is a certified clinical trauma professional and has certifications in a variety of evidenced based treatments including play therapy, DBT, and CBT. She employs a broad range of interventions, based upon clinical presentation, and works in our Carmel and Millbrook locations.

Matthew Johnson is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York who has been practicing since 2020. He has a Masters in Counseling from Marist College and an Associates in Science from Duchess Community College. Matthew works together with his clients to address unique goals and utilizes a strength-based approach to overcome concerns. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys movies, video games, reading, and D&D.

Rickie Daniels was trained at Columbia University, and specializes in treating children, adolescents, and families impacted by trauma. She is well known as a professor, and certified trainer for Family Connections. Rickie has more than 30 years of experience treating children, families, and adults. Her post-graduate training includes family systems, trauma informed psychotherapy, as well as CBT. While Rickie brings a compassionate and open approach to joining with clients, she is also well known as being a direct and active. When it comes to treating adults, Rickie has an empowering and solution focused approach.

Jonathan Butters is a Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing since 1985. He graduated from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology with a Psy. D in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Butters treats adults using a supportive cognitive-behavioral approach. He has extensive experience in the treatment of depression, anxiety and serious mental illness.

Amy received her MSW in 1999 from SUNY-Albany after a 15-year career serving her rural community working for a non-profit anti-poverty agency. Prior to this she graduated from Oberlin College with her B.A. in 1982. Areas of interest and expertise include the therapeutic possibilities inherent in depth psychology, creativity and the arts, and the healing power of the image via dream work.

Theonyl Cuevas is a bilingual (Spanish), NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families with a wide array of mental health issues. She utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Theonyl earned her Master's degree from Rutgers University "“ School of Social Work.

Laurie Quackenbush is a New York State licensed mental health counselor who graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University with a degree in psychological counseling. Mrs. Quackenbush treats children, adolescents, and adults in a supportive environment. She specializes in the use of play therapy and cognitive behavioral techniques to address a variety of mental health struggles including anxiety, depression, attention difficulties, spectrum disorders, deviance/behavioral problems, school issues, and divorce.

Mr. Berry is a New York State licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and couples. He has over 15 years of experience using a systems theory model to involve the family in treatment.

Ariel Zaksenberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York who has been practicing since 2018. Ariel believes a therapist's job is to help people get "unstuck.
