Has your anxiety been rearing its head? Anxiety/worry were put in overdrive due to this pandemic. There is so much uncertainty and feelings of being uncomfortable in situations we never had a problem with before. Our ways of coping were either taken away or we had to adapt. There have been many transitions and unknowns that we still are coping with. I am here to tell you that Anxiety/Worry is predictable and only wants 2 things: Certainty and to be Comfortable. Anxiety cannot be taken away BUT you can with work through the anxiety. Take back the power and learn to be confident that you can deal with whatever comes your way.

I provide therapy to improve my client's reconnection with their own sense of competence and worth, improve their relationships, and reduce underlying stressors that may cause overwhelming feelings, anxiety, and/or depression. I combine psychotherapy and expressive arts to help people become better connected with their social and physical environments, live happier, and become more productive towards their own mental health. As a NYS professional, I am licensed to practice pscyhotherapy and creative arts therapies [art modality]. I have been working for 5+ years with inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services.

At every stage, life has its challenges. Allowing the voice of worry to be in the driver’s seat is not working for you. There is a way to navigate life better, and feel empowered no matter what is on your plate. I know, easier said than done. It’s just a matter of creating a new path. I can help you find it!

Ever have the feelings of not getting it right all the time, or the feelings of wanting to avoid things and push it off for later? Or maybe, my partner/kid screams and it just makes me want to pull my hair out or hide and cry? I am feeling triggered from someone's touch, or someone's actions are making me feel uncomfortable in my own skin and I am just struggling...? Are any of these, or all of these, what you are feeling? These are trauma responses from something either happening now or from your past and I can help you feel calmer and less triggered and help you gain skills for that better you.
