There are no ideal clients that I am able to describe because all clients are all different. I don't treat one client the same as I treat the next, but all clients need a different treatment but will always receive the same genuine approach. I have 13+ years working with people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds in many different areas including, but not limited to, outpatient behavioral health, residential treatment, community outreach, juvenile probation, substance abuse, and child welfare.

I have been working in the mental health field for 10 years across a variety of settings including residential treatment centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and outpatient therapy offices. I accept clients ages 12+ to address a variety of issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, grief/loss, attachment and relationship issues.

In over 23 years of counseling I have helped all types of clients, with all types of mental health and/or drug and alcohol problems. I have over the years due to the need specialized in treating depression, trauma, and in drug and alcohol treatment. I love working with children and adults, and I am very creative, so I enjoy using play and art in therapy. I am board certified in neurofeedback, and I also provide biofeedback. I incorporate it into treatment when appropriate. I am also trained to do EMDR for treating trauma.
