Trauma work is an intricate process that requires consistency, safety, and patience. I believe trauma is complex and impacts each person differently. I also believe unresolved trauma tends to operate in the shadow of our psyche, often causing us to function in a state of reaction rather than response, and thus we may feel a sense of lack of control in our lives.
