My ideal clients are individuals, couples, or families who are seeking support in navigating the complexities of their relationships and emotional experiences. They may be experiencing a range of challenges, including but not limited to Communication Issues, Attachment Wounds, Relationship Struggles, Family Dynamics, Personal Growth, and Self-Exploration. I am passionate about working with clients to improve the quality of their relationship(s) by interrupting troublesome interactions and behaviors. This is typically done by analyzing how sexuality, gender, intimacy, and past trauma impact our perspectives and self-image. We will work collaboratively to build a trusting, compassionate, and sustainable therapeutic relationship. We will build a deeper understanding around the miscommunications that are an inherent part of life.

My practice is currently full. I am not accepting any new clients at this time. My areas of expertise are working with Troubled Adolescents who have intense emotions and risky behaviors. I am able to connect on their level and see progress quickly. I also specialize in working with the Deaf and hard of hearing. I am skilled in ASL and understand Deaf culture. If you are Deaf or hard of hearing, I will do my best to get you scheduled or find you an appropriate referral.

I think of the person as a whole and not just a symptom or diagnosis. The person is the most important.

I have been practicing in Nevada since 1998. I previously worked in clinics and internships in the San Diego area while completing my doctorate training. The child population is significantly under served in Nevada and through my practice I hope to provide guidance, support and hope to families that are struggling and in need. My treatment approach encompasses the family as a whole and assesses the needs of all members, not just the identified patient.
