As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Vegas Psychology and Mindfulness Center, I am working towards licensure as a psychologist in Nevada under the supervision of Dr. Whitney Koch Owens. I conduct psychotherapy with adults, couples, and groups, using established evidence-based practices. Additionally, I perform assessment and evaluation for select client populations. I completed my doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) where I continue to teach upper division courses for the Psychology Department.

I believe individuals come to therapy with concerns that have become problematic to their lives. However we were raised, along the way, we picked up traits that grew along with us, and manifested themselves in our everyday living; traits, such as abandonment, mistrust, defectiveness, vulnerable to harm/illness, entitlement, unrelenting standards/hypercritical, and dependence. I believe these traits hide in plain sight. Individuals will come to therapy looking to relieve themselves of moments, or situations, only to find these traits, disguised as their concerns. It is up to our work together to find a way to overcome these traits.

With 13 years of experience in the field I have compassion and experience working with complicated grief, family systems, couples, teens 13 and up, veterans, and personality disorders. My private practice experiences and education in forensic psychology adds a professional competence in assessments, organization, human behaviors, child development and interpersonal skills.
