We also specialize in Gottman Method Couples Counseling, DBT and EMDR Trauma therapy. EMDR is highly effective in helping children, teens & adults resolve past trauma and abuse (see emdr.org for more info). Gottman Method is the gold standard for couples who struggle with relationship issues, infidelity and conflict. We also specialize in helping destructive relationships (emotional, physical, spiritual, etc). We help people of all ages, couples and families.

I am an experienced licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My focus lies with couples,individuals, adolescents, and families. Whether it is relationship issues, family dynamics, or individual coaching, all problems can be processed and resolved successfully! It is also important to have a strong, trusting relationship with your therapist, and that is an immediate goal in my sessions. My focus with relationships and families are developing healthy communication skills, acceptance, respect, and above all trust. I also specialize in addictions and the problems usually affect not just the one, but all who love and support them as well.

I believe one should not feel alone when struggling to cope with daily problems and/or mental illness. My therapeutic approach is integrative including a psychodynamic and client-centered approach. I use a multicultural framework for learning about clients' values, cultural background, and the circumstances that influence their lives. I see clients as experts on their own lives and collaboratively set treatment goals for making wanted changes. I work to create a warm and safe therapeutic environment, and tailor therapy to meet the needs of each unique client.
