I believe that we all are doing the best we can with the resources and knowledge we have. In today’s world, relationships, work, and societal pressures can create challenges that make us feel like our best is never enough. I believe that we all have it in us to overcome life’s challenges. It is my mission to work with you to learn and develop the resources you need to thrive. I believe therapy to be a collaborative effort and I strive to facilitate an environment in which you feel safe and can realize your fullest potential.
I have worked with individuals and families in school, residential, and clinical settings over the past 7 years. I am trauma-informed and have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, and family conflict. I am also certified as a school-based clinician. This allows me to treat children and adolescents with special educational needs.
As a person of color I was drawn to this work by the lack of mental health support available in my community. Through my own therapeutic journey, I learned the importance of resiliency in regards to healing. My hope is to empower others with this knowledge and understanding. I’d be honored to partner with you on your journey.
