Adulting IS hard! Relationships ARE hard! Parenting IS hard! It is not just you and no, it’s not easy for everyone else either. The real issue is when we try to go through hard times alone. Sometimes it’s because we don’t have anyone we feel we can count on and other times it’s because we think we are supposed to be able to do it alone. It is not weakness to rely on others for support. Humans need other humans (or just an amazing pet, hahah). This is why I believe the relationship between a client and a therapist can be so healing. I am here to help you carry the pain, hurt, and trauma and create space for hope and connection.
I will use my training in evidenced based therapies including Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with my personal experiences and humor to create space for new emotional experiences. I will move as fast or as slow as you need because change is not easy. Most of us know what we need to do but we just can’t do it alone.
In addition to my education and training, I bring to my sessions the realness of being married and working as a mother to 3 children. The struggle is real and I am here to help you navigate through your challenges and obstacles so that you can be the best version of yourself.
